1960 Studebaker Lark VI: Regular Car Reviews

Get Entered to WIN this 500 hp Dodge Ram SRT-10!

DEADLINE to ENTER is September 28th @ 11:59pm (PST).

The Studebaker Lark was one of the first domestically available compact cars, beating the Big 3 to the compact, economy car punch. But even its success couldn’t save a company that was ultimately doomed. On this week’s Regular Car Reviews, we’ll be reviewing the 1960 Studebaker Lark VI and taking an extensive look at the features – in RCR style. Check out our review of the 1960 Studebaker Lark VI!

Too many 15 second ads I can't fucking skip so you're being unsubscribed. And you're annoying beyond shit.

Darwinion

Fantastic car! How much power do you want? 180 bhp is pretty decent in a compact car. I'm from the UK and your compacts are like our big cars of the era. It reminds me of a Humber Super Snipe which was pretty prestigious here in the UK.

The "Friends of Dorthy" comment had me rolling.

Steven Cradduck

If you didn't act so stupid, I might just enjoy watching your video but I just can't stomach your idiocy.

Steven McKinnon

I was hoping. But you said it out loud and I hope it’s true. Time, I guess, will tell. Cheers!

I'm so💀, that I can't even take this review seriously, or even pay attention because of the comedy.

I’ve been looking at a park wagonaire for a while. Knowing there’s an after market might be the deciding factor

hey Beter

Make more of studebaker

never_look_in_mirrors

As a South Bend native (home of Studebaker), I think I speak for all of us when I say please come be our official spokesperson.

Jack Curtis

Congratulations on the coming out 🙂

Mr Regular. I just idled my way out of the closet. You laid rubber! Look for YouTube Studebaker ads with Zsa Zsa Gabor trying to make the 1963 Lark look like a glamorous European car. She does, too. Love the channel.

American Rambler

I lasted 3 minutes and 22 seconds. And now I am out. I thought this was about a Studebaker car. Not what ever this is sarcastic jabber is.

AdamOnRoute

Legitemately have watched the intro to this video 3 times now. I still have yet to make it further into the video. We'll see I might be stuck on a loop. I'm dying laughing. Automatic windshield washer …fillled… with CUUUUM!

No one cares.

David Jansing

Why not put a Camry engine and transmission in something like that? 200÷ hp and better mileage.

purm0ndis

Another great episode. I really like when ya get the owners talking on their love of their cars.

chevymanfor3

Please tell me im not the only one to notice thats not a late 70's small block. Thats a vortec small block. Look at the valve cover hold down bolt location

Greg

Alright, Mr. Regular. Where is your airplane channel? I need this. With 857k subscribers, I bet you have a decent pilot base for "regular" airplane reviews. We get videos, they get to show off their airplanes, you get to fly aircraft you otherwise wouldn't get the chance. Win. Win. Win.

IdiotRace

oh my god that 50's voice is killing me lmfao i'm dead

Peter Anderson

Nucular family? You've studied at the George W Bush school of pronunciation methinks.

The last bit about being the only one at the car show is a truly wonderful experience. I have a 1961 Plymouth Valiant with a very similar experience. SAVE ALL THE GARBAGE!

gojoe283

Actually side marker lights became mandatory for the 1968 model year…

gojoe283

I brought my 66 Corvair to our local club's annual Car Show and lo and behold, there were 2 Studebakers, a Hawk pillared coupe, and an early 50s Bullet Nose sedan!

Andrew O'Regan

I think they're may be a message in this video somewhere

Jokes aside, Glad Mr regular is happy and confident in who he is

Fuse

This has been one of the best videos lately. Not that some were bad , but this one was great!

Eric06410

Can we just stop to appreciate the quality of the writing and social commentary

TheOldTeddy

Waste of time…….

jama211

1980's engine? That's cool, I wonder what they had originally

Andre

I’ve always thought Mr. Regular was hot anyway so I’m glad he’s on the same team!

BiffBallbag

Mr. Regular, I appreciate your courage to come out to your audience in the way that you have, I now love your channel even more…. Yet, I can't help but wonder if its a joke, just to get away with the jokes. Given your fantastic sense of humor, I wouldn't put it past you. I can see how even mentioning this could be taken in poor taste, I can assure you it was not intended as such.

Many years ago I had a neighbor adjoining some acreage I owned who had a '61 Lark with a three-on-the-tree. He asked me if I could adjust the clutch for him which I gladly did. He also showed me around the rest of the car, and both of us were thoroughly impressed on how solidly built it was frame-wise.

Nathan Long

One may ask. How does one find old cars and fix them?

FJB

Mr. Regular eats shit.
