Jules, there is a secret boss in final fantasy V where you must stand still to win and you also gets access to one of the most powerful jobs in the game.
Idk if it can be classed as a reward but in far cry 4 if you wait while Pagan Min leaves the room for about 15 mins or so instead of sneaking off which sets in motion the games events then Pagan will come back and take you to spread your mums ashes then the game just ends
