In Cobourg Ontario what was A factory called Golden Plow from 1900 to 1945 when in operation famous for what 2 Tractor company's and used there plow ideas of factory built ? Plus were horse drawn type and tractor to PLOW Any Guesses? If not sure I answer on replying back ! Dave and Doc you maybe answer it easy ! But tell the 2 Tractor company not heard of anymore only on future company's merge as is clue ! You guys be surprised on answers is! Please try answer if can ! I know before my time but my 2 older elders talk about when growing up in 1980's and they work there! Plus my Grandfather on my dad side his father bought horse drawn plow there and saw on farm I grew up on to plus horses drawn cultivator too the company made to! But since 1945 been Hospital for World War 2 veterans who came back from war in Canada then 1960's to present years it Retirement Home for Seniors that need lots care for called Golden Plow Retirement Living!

I have a 1950 model G John Deere that has decompression petcocks on each cylinder and if you don't open them the starter can barely turn the motor over
