AMC is located in Australia’s picturesque island state of Tasmania on the banks of the beautiful Tamar River, based in Launceston. AMC is also home to an emergency response centre and impressive fleet of training and research vessels, located at Beauty Point.
Whether it’s captaining a vessel, safeguarding marine environments, designing advanced ocean engineering structures, farming seafood or keeping the world’s goods moving; AMC offers a wide range of courses, including vocational certificates at many levels, bachelor degrees and diplomas; as well as postgraduate certificates and degrees, including doctorates.
AMC’s specialist facilities are designed to enhance learning for each course offering and provide a hands-on, practical learning experience. Our class sizes are small, meaning students and teaching staff work closely together. Students are provided with flexible course options, opportunities for full-time, part-time and online distance study and there are many generous scholarships on offer.
