By the way: This is NOT the TOP 5 Pokemon who became good years later, we are doing a follow up video on that so stay tuned. These are just five of them who also fall into that category.
Gen 3: yeah it’s pretty stable, we know the teams that work and don’t work, Trace Porygon 2 is a cool addition to offence. The meta doesn’t change much
Moltres: Hold my beer
Now I want to see a "Top 5 Pokemon With New Toy Syndrome" where the hype made them forced into OU, and then when it wore off everyone realized they weren't very good. Dusknoir comes to mind for example.
Very smart to diversify the channel now ahead of when “how good was X actually” runs out of interesting Pokémon to cover
I mean to be fair most pokemon value is based on meta counter then new meta
Can we get some videos on the baby Pokemon? Always loved those
aka DPPt OU low tiers appreciation day
I like this.
What about Pokémon who were amazing then dropped off after the generation was over like gen 5 blissey
I love this type of videos!
How about going over pokemon legends careers? Like Cybertron, Wolfie, Ray Rizo, etc. Talking about their signature pokemon, their play style, strats, achevements and all. I think that would absolutely rule!
Anyway, love your content guys.
Man, how GREAT is that thumbnail ACTUALLY? I love it
For Suggestions:
Top 5 Pokemon that have seen the most Tier Shifts.
Top 5 Pokemon that could have been released from Ubers sooner (for example i firmly believe that Blaziken could have been in OU since generation 6 and it would have never been more then "good" but it took till gen 8 for it to drop and its currently in UUBL).
Top 5 most controversial Pokemon in Competetive.
Yoooo Marilland at the start let's gooo
Top Pokémon for double should be a good one.
As a BKC viewer, I can hear his voice in this, especially on the Clefable part
I'd love a video of pokemon with that are not top tier but have small niches in OU or maybe in other tiers like ubers (quagsire vs kyogre comes to mind)
love the new videos
I kinda want to see the polar opposite. What pokemon were utterly dominant to the point of being ban-worthy, but they are now unviable as a result of meta changes.
Why the thumbnail kinda fire tho
Might be the single greatest thumbnail I've ever seen.
Love this kind of content!
We need more videos like these
Good stuff love the new content my man
Nidoqueen. Dugtrio. Clefable. Porygon 2. Moltres.
The greatest 5 that rose later on.
Shoutout to Tentacruel for taking 20 years to finally become the king of Gen 1 UU. It may not be OU, but it is very impressive
Jolteon's rise to prominence in Gen 1 OU shook up the meta so much that Exeggutor's status as one of the best mons in OU was actually threatened due to Jolteon being able to nail the latter with a 4x super effective Pin Missile.
If you're curious how, remember that crits were tied to speed in Gen 1 and that each Pin Missle hit has a chance to crit. Combine that with Jolteon's high speed and yeah.
Do Pokemon that got way worse years later
I think something interesting that could be discussed in these list videos is another commonality between the pokemon in the list. I think it could add to the analysis, as well as make it clearer why and how each pokemon got on the list.
Maybe a video on holdable items like gems, status orbs and the niche things like the heavy ball and bright powder?
Les go moltres! Knew I liked the right one!
