That’s the first time after 6 years that Apple left me uninterested to buy new iPhone. I picked the Z Flip 4 that offers a very different experience. Sure, the cameras aren’t up to iPhone level but I can take the foldable screen every single day over a better camera. Now the only chance to go back to iPhone will be a foldable model and not the first gen…
The Pixel has some great shots but the S22 looks terrible IMO, completely artificial. As for comparisons, I don't know many people who upgrade every year, I jumped up from the standard iPhone 12 and its a HUGE difference there.

Watching this on my 14pro
Surprisingly negative review on a very impressive phone, arguably the best out right now. Mostly covered edge case scenarios that don’t fit into what 99.99% of people will care about or notice. Very strange review.
I upgraded ever 2 years only because my Canadian carrier Rogers wants me to pay $450 to keep my iPhone 12 so I am upgrading to iPhone 14 pro this year .
So what would you choose to do if you had a only 2 choices 1) keep current phone and pay $400+ after second year of tab owing or 2) trade in after year 2 of owning your current phone (my case iPhone 12 )????

I could zoom in on this video in 4K and see big differences to detail between most photo comparisons of the 13 vs 14 Pro Max. If your shooting for instagram pics, go buy an iPhone 14 or 14 Plus.

hey for me i am waiting for the iPhone 15 pro series. or maybe the iPhone 16 pro max with under screen Face ID sensors under the display. or for a single camera hole on the front display on iPhone series. For a design change to the iphone series. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max blue color right now. i’ll probably get the new iPhone 16 pro max or the iPhone 15 pro max. i would like to see the display camera battery. or other things to get better improvements on the next iPhone series. hopefully will get some big changes with the next iPhone 16 series. also will come with no notch no obstructions.
You guys should probably focus more on "real-world" comparisons such as the 14 Pro vs. the XS; however love your attention to detail.

I am still laughing on the eSim part , did physical sims take really a lot of time to get activated on a different phone ??? what if you have two phone and one of them is out of juice and the other one with a different provider is out of service, should we sit back and cry !!! No lets not get started on the satellite part

I think ought to be called the floating island, like the desert.
In my experience just make sure that if your on a family account you do all the switching of the Esim in the Apple Store if your doing a trade in.
You must be the only YouTube review that didn’t praise the dynamic island. I have been saying exactly what you said here. I would go even further to criticize it because this dynamic island is gonna be used very little, it’s way to high on the phone and we are so used to switching apps from the bottom that it’s gonna make it confusing to know how to switch apps. Also, it will perpetuate the notch now that it’s their best “feature”.
