This year, the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) commemorates her Golden Jubilee. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the RSN hosted Singapore’s inaugural International Maritime Review (IMR) on 15 May 2017. The IMR was an opportunity for the RSN to welcome its allies from around the world for its 50th anniversary celebrations.

the Formidable class of frigates of the Singapore Navy should have been much bigger displacing around 6,000 tons – 6,500 tons considering the frigate's present & future capabilities!!! and the Singapore Navy seriously needs an aircraft carrier, something like a conventionally powered 36,000 ton stealth aircraft carrier!!!
