Reviewing the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra three months after it hit the UK, boasting one of the most powerful camera offerings of any 2022 smartphone. This long-term review concentrates on the Samsung S22 Ultra’s optics and compares the Exynos 2200 performance, battery life and everyday experience with rivals like the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
This is the biggest Galaxy phone around with that S Pen stylus bunged in the bottom. You have several specs upgrades over the Plus model, including a fresh 108MP primary camera and a powerful Space Zoom telephoto setup. This is certainly one of the best smartphones for photo and video capture in 2022, even if it’s not as capable as the Find X5 series in low light.
Performance is good enough for gaming all afternoon, although battery life isn’t quite as impressive in this Exynos handset vs the Snapdragon model. And the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra sports the same One UI 4 experience as the rest of the family, except with the S Pen for scribbling and sketching.

Worst cell Phone very. I was impacted by Hurricane Ian and had to stay connected to the out side world. We had limited service, and this phone made it worst. The humidity issue was another big problem, flw
When you plug in this tell you that there is humidity in your battery.
And you couldn't charged 🙄

I made a huge mistake getting the 128gb version.
I think the S22 Ultra is a great daily driver for me, very happy with all the features on the S22 Ultra

Are you using the UK handset with the Exynos chip or US with Snapdragon?
I've just upgraded from Samsung S20 Ultra. The photo quality of the S22 Ultra is not as impressive as the S20 Ultra. This is also the case when watching films – colours seem rather bland compared to my previous phone. 😐
S20 also has the "food mode" BTW.
