Odisha State Maritime Museum,Cuttack 2022

The Maritime Museum in Cuttack was very interesting and there is a lot of information available. I have tried to show most of the display that is present in the Museum. It takes about an hour and a half to see everything at the most.
There is an aquarium too inside the campus. There are separate tickets for the Aquarium visit. It wasn’t too bad since there are a number of fishes but do not expect it to be like the Sea World of Australia or Singapore! It just has colourful fishies which you can see up close!
There was also another option for 4D show which we opted for but it was a complete let down!
The hall was in need of repair and the 4D movies shown had nothing to do with maritime history! The 3D glasses did not work and the only 4D that we could understand was some water being poured on us from time to time (Not spray, mind you!) and that the seats kept jolting without any co-ordination with the video or audio! So only go for the Museum and Aquarium visit but it is advisable that you do not spend on the 4D show!
We stayed at Kila Dalijoda and travelled to Cuttack to see the Museum, one can just take a train to Cuttack and see the Museum and stay at Cuttack too.
