The Samsung Odyssey Ark is a striking display that looks outstanding on paper, but in practice, it’s just too much screen that is meant to be viewed too closely, and doesn’t properly balance between being a television or a monitor. It’s nice for playing games, and is usable for watching TV or movies if you don’t mind sitting at a desk instead of on a couch, but using it as a regular PC monitor just isn’t a good experience.

It's heavier than two 40 pound bags of tidy cats and 4 bags of 20lb rice. If you've ever lifted those, then you know what that feels like
Sorry samsung, poor implementation.
a too aggressive curve screen is bad, Max doesn't know wtf he's talking about.
…but what if you don't do ANYTHING productive AT ALL with the computer? Is it worth it then?
0:46 "Samsung succeeded in the goal of enveloping you in the experience, unfortunately that experience is generally unpleasant" lol
6/10
38" is probably the largest monitor I'd go for. 34" so far is my favorite.
That color accuracy is fking terrible! Most LG monitors from the past 5 years are 100% adobe rgb and dci p3
Can't believe I'm going to say this but this is a better video review/overview than the one on Linus Tech Tips.
Ign just stick to doing terrible game reviews.. no need to expand into the tech space
neo g7 odysses is enough for PS5 fps online games and Sony a95k for single player games/movie
Neo G8 Is the best on the market
Um, isn't IGN on Samsung Plus?!? 😂🤣🤣
Nobody can buy this
This is cool and all… But where the heck is the Pokemon Review IGN?!?
Too big for computer use, but probably ok for personal console gaming.
The fact you dont mention the most important thing is sad. This monitor CAN'T show your pc and console at the same time like their two other odyssey monitors and for that reason alone a person shouldnt buy this until they change it. How they going to remove an amazing feature like that on a this huge monitor it's such a step back it makes no sense.
Just got the oddesy g7 4K it’s amazing
Been waiting for this one
Got a Samsung curved monitor like 5 years ago and love this thing. Picked up an LG Ultrawide last month to go with it.
Might as well buy an LG OLED from Microcenter for $1,000 instead that looks 10x better.
And LG does Dolby Atmos, unlike Samsung.
