Samsung is going about their camera stragey all wrong with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra! Samsung is going after the 200mp camera for their flagship S23 Ultra, but how many of the top 20 smartphone cameras in the world have a 200mp camera? Zero. Yes… 200mp isn’t better, it’s just “more” pixels, which don’t make a better picture. The S23 Ultra Camera still won’t be number one, and it looks like the S23 Ultra Selfie might even get a downgrade (rumors)

Which Watch do you prefer? Apple Watch ultra or galaxy watch 5 pro?
Counterpoint to decorate. Mknhd blind camera test the s22u came 4th over all. And out of the 16 phones in each test ranked no less than 8th. So u would put too much faith in dxo who have paid reviews. Preference comes down to tuning not MPs
I got my hands on the tab s8 I couldn't wait for the tab s9 anyway I agree Samsung can do better with the camera but I don't notice the difference I don't even like taking pictures but yes you have a point
Totally agree with you on this, remember when Samsung launched the X100 Space Zoom? The results were complete trash. Like you said, it's all marketing gimmicks!
there is no way in hell a tiny plastic fixed lens will be able to resolve correctly on a 200mpx sensor. In the mirrorless world, photographers already are talking how a more than 32mpx sensor is brutal on most lenses already when you pixel peep and see that the image is not that sharp. And they are talking about heavy pieces of glass worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars that will forever be optically superior that what they can cram in a smartphone lens. this is why apple decided to not go over 48 ( a quadruple of 12 ). they did it so they pixel bin in a perfect square ratio and artificially increase the crappy iso sensitivity of a such small sensor while increasing the chance of the lens to resolve sharpness correctly now that a single pixel is represented by 4. More than that and its a dead end that looks like the digicam pixel wars before smartphones arrive where mom and pop did not understand why their little plastic 20mpix fixed lens 100$ camera was inferior in every way to a 6mpix dslr that costed 1000$
😊👍👍
The Intro was Hilarious, How you can joke with the Eyeball problems is beyond me! Lmfao!
I think the S7 edge is one the best smartphone that's Samsung has ever made😊
Great content. All I care about is that the 200mp gets better shots of the moon.
What's with the sunglasses?
i just want an Android brand to beat the iPhone's camera
currently Oppo Reno series is the most value for money phone in the market with amazing design fantastic camera and super premium built and a great overall package at a really attractive price..
people like me when they hear 108mp or 200mp go like definitely not buying this phone, because I don't care how good the camera is, I feel like those pics are going to ruin my phone storage..
I want Nokia 12mp camera phone.
Thanks for the updates as always congratulations on your 110k 👏😎🇮🇪
Isn’t the pixel 8 series taking Samsungs GN2 sensor for next year? Pixel is going to leave Samsung in the dust soon. I am a Samsung fan , but I agree with what you said. This might sound insane but if Google one let you use their and camera app HDR on a Samsung phone they would make so much money. The the vivo x90 + pro or what ever it’s called is awesome. Just don’t want the spyware. And hopefully Samsung will only get rid of the 40 megapixel camera for a positive reason as that the 12 megapixel camera is better. And you said megapixels aren’t everything! I don’t think they would change it unless it was producing better results, but time will tell.
Just bring the Google Pixel 7A. Phone of the year for me is the Pixel 6A. Decent size and camera tech which has aged well. Not impressed with Samsung reigniting the megapixel race. A 1" sensor would've been much a better proposition. Shutter lag has apparently been fixed using Samsung's camera assistant app. YouTube video here showing fix

Great Arnie impression by the way Adam.
what's your thoughts on the camera system on the S21 FE?
This proves it. Pixel 6a is king of ceras at 12mp

the 22 ultra sold better because they got rid of the two phone model and just made one premium model. I will say that even tho the fold doesn't have all the pixels but takes great shots. The coated lenses are amazing. Looking forward to see what the pixel foldable will bring. Hope their is a great trade in program. Or ill just get a pixel 7a for weekend and going out.
The space zoom has nothing to do with the 108mp camera though. It's a product of the 10mp 10X zoom camera! The upside of more mega pixels is that the binned down pixels will be bigger which means in theory at least they will be capable of taking in more light and detail than a smaller pixel. Personally I wish Samsung was just sticking with the 108mp and increasing the size of the sensor to 1". But increasing the pixel count should should have a similar effect while allowing you to shoot Raw photos with more details captured 🤷♂️
Personally I'm just going to hold off and wait until I get mine so I can compare it to my S22 ultra and see what if any difference it has 🤷♂️
These intros with the sunglasses are getting better and better 🤣🤣
I agree with you I'd rather have a good 50 mega pixel camera or 64 mega pixels max that performs well than 200 mega pixel camera this is actually putting me off buying the phone what I'll do is wait and watch the reviews and deside if I should purchase it or not I pray the shutter lag has gone
I actually like the shades 😎 😆 U should keep em!! At least sometimes. I see no major improvements from Note 20 Ultra 5G. Unless I see something better than slightly "better" speed and "better" camera 📷 , I'm NOT "upgrading".
According to some leakers S25 Ultra will be the one with the best and highest possible upgrades. So the S23 Ultra could be a test to the 'final' stage S25 Ultra.
