Apple Watch Ultra vs Galaxy Watch 5 Pro: NO CONTEST!

My wife is an iPhone and apple watch user, I really appreciate how smooth the devices are but I just can't see myself using these apple products, android has so many conveniences I wouldn't give up.

bought a watch 5 pro and have had nothing but problems with it, it is region locked and won't activate in france even after buying it unlocked in the USA, yet they say it will roam internationally and it won't even activate it says "no plans available in your country", ECG and blood pressure DO NOT WORK outside the USA neither….really disappointed with Samsung and they have lost my trust now, this is the last Samsung product I will buy, I feel ripped off.

That was a waist.

Galaxy pro Battery just still not good enough..have to charge daily.. I can have watch ⌚️ abd charge it so often ..I'm gonna sell back mines

I don't like square watches, so that makes it a pretty easy choice for me.

THE REASON WHY SAMSUNG DIDN'T HAVE THE BEST AND MOST SELLING SMART WATCHES AS THEY DO SAMSUNG AND ANDROID PHONES IS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CARE!! THERE WASN'T ENOUGH MARKET OR A BIG ENOUGH MARKET FOR THEM TO WASTE THEIR TIME TO TRY!! And yes Apple sells the most cuz they kind of were losing in the phone market so they went a different direction. BUT EVEN THOSE APPLE WATCH SALES ARE EVEN CLOSE TO PHONE SALES!! NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE!!

WHO THE HELL WANTS TO PAY $800 OR MORE FOR A FREAKING WATCH THAT CAN'T DO ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT A CHEAP HEART STRAP AND A PHONE RIGHT IN YOUR POCKET CAN DO NOT TO MENTION THE PATHETIC TINY SCREENS THAT ARE ALMOST USELESS!! Put the money into a good phone and heartstrap monitoring to get REAL ACCURATE RESULTS THAT MAKE ANY WATCH LOOK SILLY!! That's if you're serious about fitness!! Or if it's just a novelty to you then I guess it's okay. NOT ME I WANT THE BEST AND MOST ACCURATE WHEN IT COMES TO THE FITNESS!! And neither watch is good enough for that!!

Samsung hit the sweet spot with getting the best of everything for a lot cheaper 5PRO THE DESIGN IS SO MUCH BETTER IN CLASSY!! WHO WANTS A BIG BULKY PHONE ON YOUR WRIST LOL!! And the Samsung watch looks so much more classy The Apple watch almost looks a juvenile in a way.. too big and intrusive it's rectangular instead a real expensive watch like a Rolex!!

NOW SAMSUNG AND OTHERS IN ANDROID THEY'RE STARTING TO TRY!! AND THEY WILL WIN AS USUAL IN THE LONG RUN!!

The bottom line is people.. watches ARE VERY LIMITED!! IT'S LIKE A TEASE VERSUS USING YOUR PHONE!!

Watchers will never be able to do anything as good as a phone and A HEART STRAP MONITOR!!

It gives you some cool accurate information but not accurate enough compared to a heart strap monitor like something polar makes, or the excellent ECG strap that is my favorite FRONTIER X!! THAT TRACKS YOUR ECG INFORMATION AS YOU WORK OUT, ( MONITORS YOU ARE BREATH RATE, CARDIAC LOAD, CARDIAC STRAIN THINGS THESE DUMB WATCHES COULD NEVER DO! ACCURATELY!! THEY EVEN PROVEN THE DEFIB THING ON THE APPLE WATCH IS KIND OF FRAUDULENT IT'S HIT OR MISS IT'S NOT ACCURATE ENOUGH OVERALL!! )

The bottom line to measure your health on your wrist is the worst place especially for the heart and the oxygen. It's in a place where it always moves and is not the most accurate place to get vital signs..

I LOVE THE GALAXY 5 WATCH JUST LIKE I LOVE ANDROID PHONES ESPECIALLY SAMSUNG THERE'S A REASON WHY SAMSUNG ALONE BEATS OUT APPLE ALMOST EVERY YEAR IN ANDROID OVERALL DESTROYS APPLE AND SALES I THINK THEY TAKE UP ALMOST 80% OF SALES IN THE THE WORLD AND AROUND 77% IN AMERICA!!

And yes has a lot to do with Android and Samsung actually cares about ALLOWING PEOPLE TO GET A PHONE WITHOUT SPENDING OVER A THOUSAND FREAKING DOLLARS!! Can get a beautiful serviceable phone for under $400 from Android or even less that works just fine and does everything you need. APPLE DOES NOT DO THIS!! THE ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED APPLE JAIL!!

They are control freaks with their little robots falling in line. EVEN IF THEY MADE A BIG PIECE OF SHIT LITERALLY THEIR FANS WOULD STILL STAY THE PHONE WAS THE BEST BECAUSE THEY'RE SO BRAINWASHED. THEY JUST MAKE THE SAME EXACT PHONE OVER AND OVER AGAIN WITH NO NEW INNOVATIONS UNTIL SAMSUNG OR ANDROID DOES AND THEN THEY HAVE TO ALWAYS CATCH UP.. THEY USUALLY ABOUT 3 YEARS BEHIND!!

And as a computer and network engineer don't even get me started on their pathetic STRIP DOWN VERSION OF UNIX OPERATING SYSTEM THAT IS NOT LIKE A FULL FEATURED FULLY FUNCTIONAL MULTITASKING BEAST OF AN OPERATING SYSTEM LIKE A DESKTOP OR A LAPTOP AS ANDROID IS!! THEY STRIP IT ALL DOWN PEOPLE SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO PUT AS MUCH MONEY INTO THE HARDWARE!!

Apple is a crap company. They pride themselves on locking down your choices and restricting the functionality of the product that you purchased from them. In addition, Apple tends to have a fan bitch, leftist support base that turns my stomach. For now, I'll stick with Android, even though I'm pretty sure the feds own Google.

The ultra is the watch G-shock wish they could make, the ultra is not a pro it wasn’t called a pro for a reason its a bit of a stretch but maybe there will be other ultra lineups of apple products, an exciting future indeed but there is no competition considering most are buying it for every day use on the battery life alone and rightfully so but goes and extends out to markets apple never was in until now.

I u seee both iPhone and Android. I tried to use a galaxy watch pro 5. Apps are just not there. Namely audible and myq which I use frequently are missing. I decided to keep my apple watch series 5. Even at series 8 I don't see many reason to upgrade from my 5..

Aa a former Galaxy Watch user, the Galaxy Watch 5 is where I jumped ship. I went through 4 consecutive iterations of the Galaxy Watch. And, Samsung made that easy by offering me lucrative trade-in values on my older devices. This essentially made the upgrade to the latest and greatest only cost me a hundred bucks or so. But, as many Samsung aficionados have all stated, the rotating bezel was the defining characteristic of the Galaxy series. The ability to address your morning alarm with a dismiss or snooze command by simply rotating the bezel was genius. Since Samsung abandoned that, I have abandoned Samsung. I have moved to a Garmin Fenix 7. And although it's a bit complex and definitely not for casuals, it brings a smile to my face when I look at the screen and see I have 26 days of battery life left. No more making watch charging a every 1-2 days priority for me.

4 years ago LG Watch by Google was huge and clunky. Now tech "experts" celebrating the Apple Watch ultra. Where are the sweater tests Youtubers you did for big Android Wear OS watches? Also sapphire screen is better on Samsung from chemistry standpoint.

I just bought the regular watch 5. And it's great. The ONLY thing I don't like is the apps, they're pretty bad. There's no apps for some popular phone apps like Whatsapp.

Bro doesn't the galaxy watch 5 pro also have a sapphire display, titanium case and a bigger battery?

Does Galaxy Watch 5 play music without Bluetooth headphone independently ??? I want to trade in GW4 for the reason.

I just got a 5 Pro for less than $300, so I think that's okay. But one thing everyone needs to understand is that Samsung is NEVER going to implement the deactivated body sensors like blood pressure and body temperature. So if you buy one, you need to understand what you're getting into.

i prefer the apple watch, just for the speed, polish, apps, etc, but i use Galaxy watch, because the phone is the number #1 device and i perosnally prefer galaxy phones over iphones.

So I don't have to have a galaxy to have a Samsung watch??
