That's a massive generational improvement done by samsung and qualcomm
Great to see that the S23U now on TSMC shows what it is capable of getting, and it is just sad that for the last two years, we had Samsung Fabs making these; as we can see with the iPhone, we should have been getting close to 11 hours on the S22U and S21U. Thankfully with the hype, it seems inconceivable that Qualcomm will go for the cheaper inferior Samsung nodes for a while.
Hard to be negative about the S23U battery life. Obviously, normal usage will mean around 15-18% less SoT due to standby, and if you use 5G, knock 33% off for every hour using that. But that will still be more than enough for an average user, and even power users will be happy. The good thing as this is for all SD8G2 devices, so well done, TSMC and Qualcomm.
What's the difference between them in standby drain? (let's say overnight for 9 hours). Also, standby drain with cellular data turned on? My Exynos 2200 S22U is losing 2-3.5% per hour with cellular data on.
amazing review thanks.. 🤍👍
That is so impressive! I will get my 1TB Galaxy S23 Ultra tomorrow and i'm soo excited!!!
amazing battery life
3 hours more on pre realised software, thats a massive difference, but according to you its a not an upgrade and not a lot better 😉
Good video.
Were both S22 Ultras a year old? So, that means if all 3 were new, both S22Us perhaps would get 9+ SOT?
Or normally how much a battery depreciates in one year (I know it depends on usage), but on avg how much does it depreciate?
First! Or.
Second idk
