Why are you hyping this up when Uyghur slaves will be the ones manufacturing the next iPhone. You are a product of consumerism at its worst. You may not be the one employing the slaves but you are inadvertently marketing the newest thing. Maybe get people to buy the last generation used or refurbished as the only ethical option. Maybe encourage people to repair products until they really slow down. Often a new battery or screen can add an extra lifespan.
But apple is becoming a modern day slave profiteer. Please be weary. I like your Chanel, but I think that a lot of tech YouTubers are contributing to the crisis.
Your whole argument on not comparing year-to-year model stay valid, only if they don't raise the prices so high year on year. So, again it makes perfect sense to also compare what we users are getting in return for year on year basis.

Is there value in buying an iPhone 13, rather than anything in the 14 series? Or maybe buying a used 13 Pro? Whatcha think? (I have an iPhone X, with 3 gb of RAM, vs a 13 with 4 gb of RAM) – is a 13 worth one gb of RAM?

As someone who travels internationally, I can’t get down with removing the physical sim tray. Getting cheap service that may not offer a ton of options or a smooth connection is a huge deal for me.

I just came back from vacation with a group of friends and what I see is how good of 14 camera work in the low light setting compared to 13 and 11. The new action camera also really great. I think the new picture processing is A LOT better.
The dynamic island is a slick and cool implementation of a camera cutout, still it does not justify the fact that it is so big, that when you watch youtube videos, it hinders the full screen experience.
The Always On Display is the dumbest design ever. It's disappointing comming from apple. It is a logical design and decision that AOD should have minimum pixels turned On. Only necessary info like time and notifications. Why TF would you want a Dimmed Wallpaper on AOD? The whole display is still turned On
Dynamic island is not something to brag on. If I'm not mistaken Android has adapted the same feature through an app download….

I'm thinking of switching from my old s10 to a 14 pro, this whole thing about the battery life is keeping me from doing it tho, is it just "compared" to the iPhone 13's battery life? Or is this a big deal, as if the phone had been used for 5 years and the battery was slowly deteriorating? And is this even fixable with a software update? (since many are saying that it's the AOD fault)
