AC ORIGIN combat is way better realistic
It's okay I mean, We had our fun with the first AC, now they are taking a more rpg approach, reminds me a lot of gothic, risen, which are games I love a lot.
The only problem to me is the plot. Why keeping the AC series if it is to switch to a playstyle that oculd fit a whole different story and game design approach ?
I never cared about the animus bullshit, for me every AC games could have been standalone historical story driven games.
Damn…not even off a free download do I wanna play this

Well it looks fun and the graphics look good but what am I missing? Doing a complete run through of AC and am about over halfway through odyssey so this one’s next. Everyone says it’s bad so my question is why?

I haven’t played games in a while but due to Covid lockdown, I decided to buy ac origins and ac odyssey because I remembered how fun the old ac games like ac2, brotherhood etc were. No joke, I played literally 5 mins of ac origins and odyssey and I uninstalled it because I couldn’t bare how unrealistic the fight mechanics were.

Wtf was that guy doing at 0:24?! He turned his back for some reason and was not even aiming at the player LOL. If the combat is this dogshit in the game I am not getting it especially with its poor historical accuracy.

It just looks so damn janky; the combat sounds are weird, there’s no oomph to the attacks (It’s like base game Skyrim in 3rd person). Elden Ring definitely nailed melee compared to this
the combat in this game may not be the standard fighting mechanic the real assassin’s creed had, but good enough to be in its own right minus the assassin’s creed title.

the combat style of ac origins, oddesey and valhalla just sucks , all though ac origins had an incredibly good story but Valhalla and oddesey are just upfront disgrace to the assassins creed franchise
