She’s cute

So, I’m playing Odyssey and just realized they “broke the 4th wall”. Kind of. When you complete SPOILER all 4 quests to “seal” Atlantis, when Altheia explains the last part of her speech she says, “You don’t think this is a simulation? You think you’re hearing this in real time? What about the you being In the animus”.

My minds ruined by this, and in a great way.

This one looks legit, especially since it’s made by the team that made Origins. That game was pure gold. Can’t wait for this one to drop. 😁

To be hired by WhatCulture do you have to nod constantly when someone someone’s talking

Here's everything you need to know about a game that's not released yet 🤦

i hope he’s Edwards ancestor he kinda looks like him

If she nods her head one more damn time 😂

Bilbo Baggins

Isn't she forgetting AC Syndicate, which focuses on British history?! 🤷🏽‍♂️

Brian Diggs

Early in the video it felt like they never knew Syndicate was set in England as well

Andrew Norman

If Origins explain the beginning of Assassin's Brotherhood, and Odyssey explain the beginning of ISU / artifacts, make sense iff Valhalla explain the beginning of Templars, since it takes place in Dark Ages England.

i just feel, this trilogy of games are amazing, and people will appreciate it more if the title is not "Assassin's Creed"
it throws people away with expectation on playing stealthy, hooded assassin with cool hidden blades

Origins was such a fresh step and one of my favourite recent AC games. Odyssey felt like a rehash of my least favourite parts of Origins so was the first AC game I skipped. Valhalla looks like another fresh step, and a setting we don't get enough of. I'm praying they do it justice.

Side note – anyone recommend catching up on Odyssey or nah?

the goldenpleb

Anyone else going to be listening to led zeppelin immigrant song through the whole game

Jotu Saini

What do they not teach the British the history of any of the places they conquered?

If you want a more in depth of the history of this game The Last Kingdom on Netflix is in the same setting where Vikings invade England, it definitely worth a watch, includes King Alfred who is in the game!

Jim Graydon

On the topic of weapons, I think FF7 remake does it really well in regards to weapon customisation, by making each weapon unique and have certain perks gives the system a lot more depth and gives players the choice, as opposed to feeling tunnelled into certain end game weapons.

I called it before I knew anything about it. I never liked AC games until odyssey. After playing it a few days I put two and two together “warfare, boats…I bet the next one will be Vikings.” I did go back and play black flag after ACo. Or as I like to call it, a Pirate Tail. I prefer the new games, but did love the naval combat in BF.

I'm a huge AC fan, however AC syndicate introduced me to this franchise and shortly after origins was released so my opinion is a bit corrupted about 'what feels like an AC game' but i have played and i own every single AC game minus the chronicles. I am excited to head back to England in AC as the last time we were in that area was where i was introduced to these games. I love Odyssey its my second favorite AC game with AC Syndicate taking number one because bias. I am a for honor player and my favorite character in that game is berserker with aramusha and peacekeeper in 2nd and 3rd respectively, if you can't tell i like duel weilding. So to see from the trailer for Valhalla that we can use two axes specifically axes is amazing to me. The time period is interesting, the 800s with king alfred the great, the most successful king when dealing with vikings, funnily enough he was the fourth in line to the throne, his three elder brothers took the throne before him and thats not very common as most of the time the brothers are either killed or banished or disappear until the king has a child in which case the child would be 1st in line. This might play into the story and it would be interesting if it did but i dont think it will. In terms of the homebase that they talked about in this vid i'd like to see something like the Auditore manor that you got to upgrade with the shops and stuff, and build an economy in your own small village that would serve as home base. So the game removes the skill tree system in favor for the gear system? thats interesting. Being able to customize my armor and axes would be cool, same with the boat, another interesting challenge this represents is using the weakest gear and weapons possible and attempting to beat the game which i think would be fun and could lead into high difficulty areas depending on enemy armor. A skill grid would be amazing, but it would also be kinda broken if theres one OP ability you can unlock right at the start of the game. Maybe have tiny skill trees like say one less OP ability leads into this OP ability you just have to upgrade it multiple times, that would be more balanced, i think. Also Pls nitpick my comment i hate it when i say something wrong and i dont know and i come off as a complete idiot, if your nitpick is opinion based this comment will not be edited, if your nitpick is based on pretense and what the video im commenting on rly said or what game devs said or past games etc. etc. then this comment will be edited. Pls dont let me come off as an idiot.

I take it that Kirsten has replaced Rachael

As much as this all sounds awesome, it also all kinda sounds like Fable 2

Dennis Kildegaard

It seems like this game has borrowed some features from The game Kingdom Come deliverance 👌🏼😍

Dennis Kildegaard

I'm really upset, That it seems like they haven't included territories in Denmark too. Vikings also came from Denmark, not only Norway 😤 Now The actors playing/voice acting The main charachter are danish 🇩🇰🇩🇰

kattekaren

I still wish that the game would have been set in Scandinavia. That way it would be way more the world of Vikings, and not just Vikings in England. I know I'm slightly biased because I am Scandanavian. But I'd much rather see a game set in mountainous Sweden or Norway, than have it be set in England … again. This was the best chance to set a game here, and they chose not to. It's like setting Odyssey in Italy. Yeah, it's kinda the same, but it's not Greece.

Caleb_C

Why is nobody mentioning the gameinformer article where Ubisoft confirmed in an interview that assassins and Templar’s are a big part of the game and important to the story? I agree that odyssey and somewhat origins are great games but horrible assassins creed games (more so odyssey), but everyone’s saying Valhalla doesn’t feel like assassins creed (which I’ll admit the trailer doesn’t have a real assassins creed vibe outside of the enemies and the hidden blade), but it’s Ubisoft literally said assassins and Templar’s are very important in the game……(don’t come at me I’m not tryna come at them or anyone, just bringing it up)

Finghin McCarthy

They better not do Alfred dirty, don't make him the big bad villain

Arian Citaku

The battle mechanics is just too goofy. Huge potential but probably won’t feel satisfying enough. Shame

matan guedj

Can the settlement be attacked or destroyed?

Adrian Ferrer

you guys clearly aren’t real assassins creed fans

Logan Ponthier

One of the main things getting me excited for this game is The Last Kingdom on Netflix.

D Mal

I really hope they include Ireland and Scotland aswell. Weather in expansion or main game. The two regions had a massive influence in the viking age. Dublin being the last viking kingdom in the Isles.
