Both the translation to English and the transliteration to runes made by me, but since I cannot call myself an expert either in Old Norse and runes, any correction and/or suggestion is warmly appreciated.
An alternative translation to the official one, which can be deemed to be a TINY bit creative.
The lyrics are composed of bits taken from the “Hrafnsmál” or “Haraldskvæði” (“Haralds poem”), by the skald Þorbjörn Hornklofi. The poem tells events of the life of Harald Fairhair (Haraldr hárfagri) and the battle of Hafrsfjord – a battle of which little is known and which would have marked the first unification of Norway – and it’s illustrated through a conversation between a Valkyrie and a raven.
The term “valskr” at 1:57 actually indicates something of generic “non-Germanic” origin. It went from indicating the Celts, to Romans to the Franks. I decided to go with the latter, as the Battle of Hafrsfjord is believed to have taken place around the end of 9th century. By then, both the Celts and the Roman Empire had disappeared.
The “raven” at 3:22 is literally indicated with the kenning “taster the corpses of the seas”.
The pronunciation used is a weird mixture of Modern and Old Icelandic. For instance, the grapheme “á” being pronounced sometimes ad Modern Icelandic diphthong /au/ and some other times as Old Icelandic /a:/.

HAIL ALL KING HARALD O/ perfect music
Good translation. For some reason they used a really weird one for the official lyric video, glad people at least have the opportunity to see this as well.
While Hraesavar might be referring to the Raven it literally means blood-drinker and is often translated that way in versions of the source text.
Einar!

Does Einar Selvik pronounce Old Norse words correctly?
Mi piace la voce di Einar Selvik che ho conosciuto inizialmente grazie al tema musicale di Volibear (campione di League of Legends) che consiglio di sentire. Lui lo si trova anche nella serie Vikings. Da allora posso dire di apprezzare i fonemi delle lingue scandinave, molto potenti nel cantato.
