I briefly thought about buying one of these a few years ago but changed my mind after doing some research and finding out that they have problematic piece-of-shit engines. Definitely would have bought one if they had equipped them with one of the LS engines.
It’s dry now but will it stay dry like that. We won’t know cuz a year later you been sold the car . But great video
Glad you got this beautiful machine in tip top condition. My xlrv is still in the body shop waiting for a taillight. My top was inoperable because of the fluid leak too. I replaced the cylinders with some rebuilt units from top hydraulics. The fluid was on the pump's connector so it stopped my top from working. They cleaned the fluid off and viola I can use my top again

I know one thing that you're going to have one big issue with that all LH2 suffer with is parts like the radiator I think the water pump if I'm correct and some other components they don't make them anymore that's the only downside about owning the newer Northstar Cadillac's.

Hi car wizard. Its probably not your type of thing but would you be able to done some full acceleration runs and video the speedo? I'd love to see the acceleration. Doesn't have to be high speed just flat out from stop acceleration.

I helped a friend drive his XLR V from Minnesota to Utah. On a 2 lane road going up a hill in Wyoming I stomped on the throttle to get around an 18 wheeler and by the time I got to the front of the truck I was going 104 mph! That thing has a lot of beans.
