When the swim bladder inflates, that's how us fishermen know it's usually a snapper on because it "gives up" fighting half way up and the reel up is easier.

I caught a 17lb mutton on a flat line with wire leader kingfish rig in 60ft of water while heavy chumming. Never thought any of us would and then we caught 2 more right after.
