The displays used in Samsung smartphones and tablets are known for their excellent quality. The company has a history of being one of the best manufacturers of these types of displays and there’s a good reason for it.

It seems the vast majority of those who buy a smartphone these days enjoy the look of a screen where the colors pop. Samsung devices are known for this because their default Screen Mode is set to Vivid which cranks up the saturation. For most people, this results in a better user experience since they enjoy that style.

However, those who prefer more accurate colors tend to not be a fan of this Screen Mode. Thankfully, the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra all have a feature that makes the display more color accurate.

This feature can be found in the Settings so after you open up that application look for the Display menu that should be close to the top. You should see an option labeled “Screen Mode” here, and this is where you can change it from the high-saturated Vivid mode to Natural.

The page even has a few preview images at the top so you can see how things are expected to look. I advise you to look at these top images before and after switching modes.

Changing this option from Vivid to Natural will give your Samsung Galaxy S22 vastly improved color accuracy. But it is something that most people are not used to. So even though the images will look more dull when it has been changed to the Natural Screen Mode, you can expect the colors to be more accurate than if you had left it to Vivid.

And for some, having their Samsung Galaxy S22 display colors that are more accurate is better than having things so saturated.
