That's strange a phone you hardly use uses more battery then one that is your daily drive, you might have to send the phone back

I prefer the Fold 4 to the S22U. The battery is a great improvement from my experience. Even the camera is extremely surprising, many times (especially on the 50mp main sensor). However, I know that the S23 Ultra will make me mad if the rumors regarding the camera quality are true. 🤦
My brother. I have this burning question on Z Fold 4.. I can't post shorts video from it! I don't even have an option for it. Seems like Youtube app doesn't see the Z Fold as a phone. I even changed the width on the developer options but nothing! What you think? Thanks
I came from an S22 ultra to my Fold 4. On the S22U I would generally be at about 50% at the end of the day. With my Fold 4, I'm at 60% by lunch. The S22U lasted way longer. The Fold 4 gives me a bit of charge anxiety. It definitely lasts all day, but doesn't leave much wiggle room. Plus, the S22U charged insanely fast compared to the Fold. If I put the 22U on a charger while getting ready to go somewhere, I would get about 25% in almost no time. But with the Fold, the same amount of time would give me 7-10%. Regardless, I like the Fold 4 way more. I'd switch in a heartbeat again.
With bixby routines I have a routine that turns on Power Saving Mode when my fold 4 is closed. Amazing how long the battery life gets! Sometimes I charg it every two days, sometimes after a day and a half, and the screen on time goes between 6 and 8 hours.
I got used to not using AOD on my phone because I have the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Great content. I'll take the under display fingerprint scanner any day. The zfold should sound better the speakers are placed wider apart. As for design s22 ultra looks much nicer. Also the main screen on the zfold4 is easier to break and feels cheaper. Also front display camera blows the under display camera of the zfold4. And the main cameras are much better on the s22 ultra. Also the s22 ultra has a built-in s pen.
I do not agree with you at all about the fingerprint sensor the under display is way better and easier to use. Between my fold 3 and my ultra I will take my ultra any day.
I use both. Generally, the S22 Ultra is my daily phone because I prefer the camera a little more on it. But once I get home, I use the Z Fold 4 because it's absolutely the best device for consuming content. The spen doesn't really matter to me I rarely use it
If it makes any difference to anyone watching and reading messages here, my hubby and I have the Ultras. I have to charge mine at some point during the day. But he can go daysssss on one charge. It's really indicative of use. I am more into using my tech than he is. So, it stands to reason that he gets longer battery life than I do on the Ultra. So, take that into account if considering the S22U.

Obviously, looks are subjective, not seeing how the S22 Ultra is more premium looking; several reviews I've seen consider the Z Fold 4 in beige/rose gold combo to be jewel-like.

At this point there's not much point getting the 22u unless it's on heavy discount. Wait 2 months, get the 23u instead. Fold is amazing though

Interesting. The Fold did very well in the pics/video comparison, but the Ultra's microphone sounded better. Did not expect that.
