Samsung keeps having an identity crisis, this watch should be called Galaxy Active 5 and they should have a sapphire version of the Watch Classic.
The longer battery is trying to appeal those with Garmin watches, but Garmin is ages ahead, sorry Samsung.
People wear the watch way way below their wrist: I hate this watch the buttons keep hit my wrist everytime I bend it.
In my country(Kosovo) the Watch 5 Pro costs 450€ while the 4 Classic costs 230€. You have to be out of your mind to buy the 5 Pro for double the price and yet the rotating bezel is gone.
Are you using unit to sleep? AOD? What settings gave you 3 days?
Until it reaches Amazfit GT Pro level battery life, I'm not buying Samsung watches.
I actually never used the rotating bezzle on the watch 3.
I don't know why but it's not useful.
I know the 5pro can be rotated in the edge of the touch screen which is I don't mind

In Canada the Galaxy Watch 4 classic is $497, the Watch 5 Pro is $559. So realistically, better to get the 5 Pro.
It's worthy because it's sapphire crystal and has a bigger battery that last longer.

I personally don't like the 5 pro. It may not feel heavy, but it looks huge. I really don't think it justifies the price. By the way another great video Mike.

Yes I’ll never get a galaxy watch without a rotating bezel, that’s what set it apart. The only thing that could’ve made it better was a superior os or processor, and that did not happen so I’ll be sticking to my Apple Watch.

I am so pissed that they didn't make a pro in small size, I'm keeping my regular watch 4 40mm, I'm not going to bother with the 5. If they add a small pro sometimes down the road I'll probably get it. My wrists are way too small for the larger watches.
Rotating bezel was the most important thing for me. 🥲
To me, the most beautiful galaxy watch is the watch 3 :v although the os is not as good as the current one
rotating bezel is more reliable when the screen is wet also. rotating touch bezel goes crazy when the screen is wet so it's a problem if you are sweaty or if it's raining.
While I'll still keep my 4 Classic, I still went ahead and ordered the 5 Pro.
I would like to ask Samsung if you make a watch with a titanium case why didn't have a titanium band too

Is it me or are there no metallic (steel) Grey titanium bands for galaxy watch 5 pro? And which has a more classy look – the black case or the Grey titanium? Sure wish the 5 pro had a stainless steel case option. Having less of a choice might be the deciding factor in waiting for the pixel watch.
I don't understand the knock on the bezel. These are clearly different watches aimed at different audiences. That's why samsung kept the watch 4 classic.

Completely agree I love the bezel I am upgrading from a 3 to probably a 4 just because of that
I got my Watch 5 pro for 247$cad tax included
I have both. Pro is step above. Battery is 50 x better. It doesnt have glitches like the 4.its not too big. It's worth the upgrade. Quick smooth
The reason was that the classic 42 mm sold a lot less than the 46 as it was more male oriented…i know stupid right well..that what our customer said at my samsung store
Check Samsung dimensions. They are not 1mm different in size. They are 0.2mm different. They round up in one case one round down in another. 45.4 mm vs 45.6 mm. So basically the same size.

The lack of the rotating bezel turned me away from the watch 5 pro. I prefer my watch to look more classy and more of a true "watch" and so far, the galaxy watch 4 classic suits me best. I cannot understand their reasoning behind removing the bezel tbh. It was not a good decision and I believe they are going to bring it back either with a watch 5 classic down the line or with a watch 6? classic.

I have the original Galaxy watch, the Galaxy watch 4 classic, and the Apple watch series 6! And the battery on the Apple watch series 6 lasts longer than my Galaxy watch 4 classic by a few hours plus it charges faster. But I still prefer my Galaxy watch 4 classic 🤷
However as much as I like the Galaxy watch 4 classic I'm seriously considering getting the 5 pro because I think it looks really good. Plus my Galaxy watch 4 classic isn't an LTE version and I would like to have that🤷
