Fun Fact: Youtubers or any vloggers may look like rich dudes on the site but in reality if u see them with a celebrity who stars on television media the vlogger is treated like a typical person on live tv.
People who dont care on the internet thinks a vlogger is just some sort of a celebrity from scratch and think the live tv celebrities as those who walks on hollywood and something more than vloggers do. when in reality theyre just the same page and people are misunderstanding the content creators.

That E article was the real life version of the “WHO ARE YOU???” that we see amnesia victims saying in movies. Yeah, I don’t know a lot of those people either, but I’m not gonna take pride in not knowing who people are. That’s weird. Just like shouting who are you when you see someone you don’t know.
The only reason i've heard of E is because I searched "E" because I was bored.

I never understood the hate for watching someone play games. Maybe I dont have thousands to spend on every single new game to play it myself. Maybe I still wanna see what the game looks like. Maybe I only have an xbox and this game I am interested in is a play station only game. Not everyone has access to every game, much like watching a movie, where not everyone has the ability to fly a plane in war, turn into a giant green smashing machine, etc. You live put your dreams thru books, tv/movie, and especially games. Why are they so shunned as childish when the potential for adults is endless. Wanna learn to actually fly a plane? Video games can be realistic flight simulators. I mean seriously it's not like we are playing with chalk and stickers here.
Bit late to the party but since the pandemic lots of "big names" are now doing a lot of YouTube or twitch work

Are we gonna acknowledge PewDiePie and the Kardashians are problematic because of their words and actions? From that standpoint, they do not deserve to be "left alone" — or maybe they do… literally. Criticising them for their platform like those traditional media did is stupid and unjust, but there are several genuine reasons to criticize them.
Your video raises many good and fair points, but I think this needs to be acknowledged as well.
edit: Reading through the comment section, I suppose I´ve misunderstood what you´ve said about the Kardashians, apologies about my ignorance. Rewatching the part of the video, I´m still not sure if you consider them to be on the wrongfully attacked side, though, or the side whose watchers ´are the pot who calls the kettle black´ for insulting gamers. Or am I understanding it completely wrong?

i honeslty dont agree with this fully. mattpat repeatedly brings up how it would be different if this were done with other celebrities, but thats just it: it WOULD be different. everyone else who appears on variety magazine isnt an anomaly like felix was at the time. hes not a suit, hes a guy that screams at video games. hes a trickster. he's different. thats what his role was, so it was completely on brand to present him as that outlier that he is. if he is an example of counter-culture, the way i see it it would be MORE insulting to ignore that aspect of his identity.

So all in all, they're words might not even make a huge difference in the long run.
