Incorrect since the banners for the teams are the three legendary birds and when this theory came out they weren't in pokemon go
Certainly not the worst idea I've ever heard when it comes to this franchise. Heck, I didn't even know there were any other game mechanics other than walking around and catching Pokémon in Pokémon GO (I don't play it). I definitely didn't think they'd leave out any of the Pokémon other than perhaps the legendary Pokémon because… well, think about it. How could more than one person possibly end up catching a Mewtwo when Mewtwo was the ONLY successful Mew clone ever made? There is only one Mewtwo. And if GO is a true augmented reality game, and canon, that means that there can only be one of each legendary capable of being caught since, canonically, there is only one of each legendary Pokémon in existence.
