Over the years, Google has tried a few different ways to improve the user experience when it comes to tracking packages that you have recently purchased. Back when Google Now was a thing, the company surfaced cards for the user when it detected a package was being sent to you.

But when Amazon stopped including the tracking details directly in the email itself, it seemed as if Google had backed off from developing these types of features.

However, a recent update to the Gmail application has added a somewhat useful feature for those who have been sent their tracking details within the email itself. We saw this initially announced back in November of last year but the update looks to be available for everyone now.

And we have to manually enable the feature if it’s something you want the application to do for you. Without the feature enabled, Google will not add this useful information to the top of your emails.

So we can turn this feature on by opening up the Gmail application and then tapping the hamburger menu icon at the top left of the screen. Now we need to scroll down this list so that we can select the Settings option.

From here, you’ll want to tap the email address you want to enable the feature for. And then scroll down through this list so that we can see the features available in the General section.

This is where you should see the new “Package Tracking” toggle that is going to be disabled by default. At least that’s how things are right now. Just tap the toggle to enable the feature and that’s all you have to do.

iOS users will find this toggle within the new “Data Privacy” section of the Settings area within the Gmail application.

Now, when you view an email that has included the tracking information, you should see a card at the top of that email. It should look something like this. Where you’re shown details of the product being shipped, when it is expected to arrive, and the progress that has been made so far.

There should even be links or buttons that you can tap to go straight to the order details and a way to actually track the progress the package has made during shipment.

Can you do a full on detail how to install roms like Evolution X and Stag OS? I'm having trouble installing them on my pixel 7 pro. Unofficial Lineage I can do depending what build I am on.
