Why not talk about things that matter? I had to call Google and I got the usual moron who knew nothing and who got angry when I told him he knew nothing. How will technical support function if there are problems?

You sound like a salesman for the pixel 6!!!

Alex

I just returned The Pixel 6a and I am going back to the 4a. I had connection issues and had to reset the phone multiple times a day. I did not at the same places (work) with the 4a. The in screen fingerprint scanner is terrible. It's slow and doesn't always recognize my fingerprint. The fingerprint scanner on the back of the 4a is great and instantly unlocked my phone plus I can pull down the notification menu with the scanner in back of the 4a , such a nice feature that is gone with the in screen scanner on the 6a. It doesn't seem faster on anything that my 4a did great, streaming video, games, music, on my 4G LTE network. Picture quality is also not worth being as FRUSTRATED as I was multiple times a day with the fingerprint scanner and the connection issues. The 4a takes great pics anyway. This phone is not worth the upgrade from a Pixel 4a. I don't recommend it at all. I will look for another phone but for now the 4a is great. So disappointed

I wonder how these guys from A.Authority use this phone. Is the battery that bad?

The Tech Realist

"Android Authority" but favors iPhones lol

What a joke

Gou and Sotsu were mistakes

So disappointed they took off the headphone jack

Nothing on video quality?????

Does anyone have connectivity issues on 6a?
5G data is really slow (~2Mbps DL)

I had a pixel 3A and 4A which I liked but the major point of them was a headphone jack and a working fingerprint scanner on the back. I knew the 6A of course didn't have those two things but they hyped up how amazing the phone would be otherwise. Mine has been problems and disappointment. I do not like any wireless headphones. I struggled to find the secret spot for the fingerprint scanner and have to do it multiple times to unlock the phone. I was promised amazingly better text to speech I immediately hated the new text to speech system. I'm sending it back and looking for a 5A or switching to a different brand. One with a headphone jack and decent fingerprint scanner.

For $450 who needs a flagship phone, Google will sell a lot of this phone 📱

I really don't get the whole Wireless Charging thing, seems like a gimmick

The Pixel 6a has a much better finger print sensor than my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G. I am doing side by side test. The Pixel 6a is just more accurate while the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G fingerprint sensor has always been terrible with "fingerprint not recognized". It is the biggest con for my Samsung galaxy a71 5G to me. The Pixel 6a fingerprint sensor still isn't on par with the great physical Motorola fingerprint sensors which were very accurate and fast. I tried my other unregistered fingers and they were denied.

18w fast charging & 60hz display. No facial recognition & thermal throttling issues and fingerprint sensor dysfunction.
How come 6a is a good phone ??

Jehan Wadiwalla

Trust me it's a stupid phone

You folks are so far up your own backside you wouldn't know a phone if you actually saw one. And it looks like this guy took a one-day course in video presentation.

Ari Meisels

It's not that they cut too many corners, it's that the Pixel 6 is a much better value.

Definitely needs to be $350 -400. With those specs it's just not worth it. Only thing youre getting that's new is the phone design and tensor chip. $450 is okay if they added a feature like wireless charging, 90hz refresh, or a third camera.

Sob Story

$300 for a Pixel 3a!! Here in rip-off-Britain you get a measly £90 ($110). No thanks.
