Im not any pro to say for sure and I may be wrong but i don't think 95 base speed was enough to keep Kyurem in OU, I dont know exactly but besides garchomp who else is a problem for Kyurem?

I used Kyurem-black in my OU team back during ORAS and early gen 7. It was fun using a box legendary, especially considering that I'm the type of player who tries to avoid legendaries in playthroughs and competitive teams in Pokémon. On the other hand, it desensitized me into becoming a Landorus-T abuser in gen 7.
To me Kyyrem-B was the most blatant example of power creep until Kartana and Blacephalon came along. Although the other two didn't have a whole immune type introduced to counter them, which unfortunately landed on the side it had legit stab.
The best blessing recieved was dragon dance and physical ice moves. Promoting black kyurem to gen 8 ubers from always OU . It trained in OU friends for 3 generations.
Miraidon is practically made to be the partner of kyurem black. It's going to be scary.
Great job again, would love to see Torkoal in the future:)

This shows how their movepool can make a difference to their strength and not just being a Legendary. Still, I would have preferred Icicle Crash for its physical STAB.

The concept of fusing is pretty scary. Taking away another Pokemon's free will to become part of another…. bluegh. Never sat well with me.
He's most likely finally getting icicle crash in gen 9 when he becomes available in it.
