I got another better solution!!!!!, I was facing same issue since 6 months, I tried many things for fix but nothing helped out , finally I just connected my MacBook to external monitor that’s it, Now working fine , I hope it will help for you too my friends 🙂
The reason the flickering is either GPU or is the display panel LCD faulty I would recommend that you take it to Apple and get it fixed

TIP: Update your device because that was my solution, after the updates it might tell you to delete things that are harmful for your Macbook which is good. 🙂
