Apple has also redesigned notifications in iOS 16. Notifications now appear at the bottom of your Lock Screen rather than at the top below the clock.
Apple also added some new customization options for iOS 16 notifications. If you head to the Settings app and tap “Notifications,” you’ll see three different options. Each option is for customizing the appearance of notifications at the bottom of your Lock Screen.
Notification Summary appeared with iOS 15 and helped you combine some of your incoming notifications into groups of alerts sent to you at certain times. The idea is that you’ll receive these summaries when it’s convenient for you, helping you to manage your information overload.
Apple clearly continues trying to find that balance between human productivity, technology, and what we do. Getting Your Notifications under control should be at the top of your list.
