How to make a Leather Quiver from Assassin's Creed Valhalla – Leatherworking

I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for a few months now and I really wanted to make Eivor’s quiver. I think the design is fantastic and fits perfectly with all the things I love about leatherwork.

I started by creating the pattern on Illustrator, then assembled it, and taped it to 2.3mm/6oz vegetable tanned leather. I puched all the holes and then cut all the parts.

I used transfer paper to recreate the design and transfered it to leather using warm watter and a tracing tool. I cut the leather with my swivel knife and tooled it with bevellers of different sizes.
When the leather was dry, I dued it using wated based brown leather dye. I let it dry overnight and painted the silver parts. Then I applied two coats of neatsfoot oil, and burnished the edges with a mix of Tokonole and water.

For the final assembly, I used a 3mm brown leather strap and 5mm coton rope.

Don’t hesitate to purchase the pattern if you want to create your own.
You can find the pattern here:

Magnifique Gérald ! 👍
Je pense que le passant avant du carquois devrait être un peu plus court que celui de l'arrière ce qui éviterait aux flèches de tomber en marchant.

Andy Pugh

Great attention to detail!

Rasmus Loen Steensgaard

Excellent work bud! Although I'm disappointed you didn't go shooting with it 😁

Are the plans available for purchase? You did such a splendid job again, every time I see you work with leather I want to make something!

Nice quiver Red. The hand lacing was a nice touch. The hand tooling is the coolest most time consuming part of the work and the result is amazing

That's really cool, G!

looks like the quiver has been dipped in liquid metal. Love how close it is to the game! Great work!

Amazing work as always, Red!

Awesome project!
When I've used paint on leather projects, I usually go heavy on the antique gel afterwards. Gets into those beveled places and adds dimension back to your work. Or you could paint a light wash into them and wipe off.
Love the lace stitching!

Frenetic Ferret

Love the way the silver shines on the quiver. Excellent work, my friend.
