iPhone 14 Pro Max has been known to have more bugs and glitches than any iPhone ever made. I was ready to make a change and used the opportunity to try jumping from the largest phone in the lineup, to the smallest iPhone 13 mini. Here’s my experience switching.

Like many here who comment i switched to an iPhone 13 mini and I haven't any problem with battery life. Now I don't play games on my phone and I'm working so I'm not using my phone all day long. Google maps, podcasts, music, the occasional YouTube video texting checking emails. It lasts me all day. No problem and it's nice to have a phone in my pocket again and not a mini tablet which all phones have become. I'm also pretty active person and so not having a gigantic phone in my pocket has been nice with running and exercising and sports. This is the phone to get if you're an on-the-go person and I thought about getting a mag safe battery but I haven't needed it
Don’t hate on the 14 pro max 🙂 when you a power user like me using the mifi and Apple car play and watching video podcast and still get 1 day 12 hours there is no looking back lol
I have an cheap Samsung phone and I have been saving for an iPhone 13 pro
If Apple could fix the battery life of mini series then there would suddenly be a lot of takers for same.
Iphone 13 mini is the best
I love the iPhone mini I have the red one I also have the red 13. Loved your video.
Been using the mini for a year now. It’s all I need. Compact and powerful. Yes u have to top up the battery once in the evening but the form factor beats everything. Gonna hold on to it till it lasts.
I literally did the EXACT same thing at the same time 😂Love this phone! Small and amazing!
I switched from a 7.6 inch phone and it was the best tech decision I’ve ever made. It’s just (almost) perfect to me.
I just traded in my 13 Mini. Some apps don't fit correctly and some website are horrible on it. It took awnile but I coulnd't take it anyore. Got Max Pro…fantastic phone.
The battery on the mini is not bad. I’m a decent power user, though I don’t consume much content on my phone (I have computers, TVs, and tablets for that), and I am only around 40-50% by end of day, which runs 4am to 9pm. I have a MagSafe battery if I’m in the 30’s and leaving the house at night. I keep swapping between the 13 mini and Fold 4 from Samsung, primarily because US adoption of iOS makes it hard to communicate with family when not on an iPhone. That said, the 13 mini blows the battery on the Fold 4 out of the water.
I need more phones with a small form factor (13 mini, Zenphone 9, Fold 4). I have to praise the foldable form though for helping bridge the gap those rare times when I need something larger.
Why don't people who complain about the mini's battery life just get a magsafe battery? I did and problem solved. The combo looks terrific as well!
My iPhone 12 Pro Max just perfect for me
went from a 13 Pro Max to a 13 Mini and never looked back. So refreshing carrying around a phone this size and weight. I dont see myself ever going back to a phablet phone again.
What’s the screensaver on the iphone 13 mini called, how can I download it please?
You can’t just compare iPhones anymore the iPhone 13 mini has such a bad battery life compared to the bigger phones. It just sucks having an iPad in your pocket.
I have a iPhone 7 256 gb, want to upgrade to 13 pro max. Is it good or is there a better alternative? I am in India
i have a mini along with my family of 4. Something nobody talks about is the horrendous keyboard feedback. You have to be precise with your touches or you can double press keys and it will register as a ghost press. Its my only con coming from a 12 pro max😢
I'm looking forward to your long-term review of the Mini 13 in comparison to the 14 Pro Max. I'm struggling with the decision of what to upgrade to from my XS.
I’m switching from the 13 pro max to the Galaxy S23(small)
In my opinion I hate the battery of the iPhone 13 mini. I had it before my 14 pro max and I use my phone more than most people at work so the mini would always die on me so fast especially when I FaceTime so I mainly always had to have my phone on charge with the mini. My schedule is 10-8 when I am working so I need 10 hours almost so a pro max just fits my schedule better
Yeah, I returned my 14 Pro because of all of the issues and cost. I'm on a budget and it just doesn't feel right have an expensive phone with so many issues. I'd understand up to maybe 3-4 months but some of these serious issues may not be solved via iOS like the problems with the cameras not focusing right, especially in apps like WhatsApp, barcode scanners, etc. I really wish I had bought a 13 Pro when those were still new but they're almost impossible to find new now and I don't trust 3rd party resellers of used ones. So, I've been debating between 13 and 14 for a bit and leaning towards the 14. It seems like the 14 has some decent extras over the 13 while having less issues compared to the 14 Pro. I think Apple screwed up with the Pro line in general, they should just have 1 line of phones per year with different sizes and any extras like special lenses can be purchased separately like you can buy phone camera lenses on Amazon. Having so many options makes it stressful for the consumer to make a choice, there is now yet another thing for people to try to impress or one-up each other over, and makes it more complicated for Apple dealing with more differences in hardware and having to tweak iOS for each model. I don't think it'd be like this if Steve Jobs was still alive.
NOT REAL SMART!🤨🥴🙄
I have both the 13 Pro and the 13 Mini. I keep switching between them as my main phone, together with an Watch U. I like both, but for a more active lifestyle (gym, cycling, running, trekking), the Pro models have a great disadvantage from the weight perspective. And then I turn to the Mini….
