I’ve had both and upgraded from the 13 pm to the 14 pro. I love the 13 pm and 14 pro for their 120hz refresh rate. And the 11 pm for the weight and round edges. I’ve been upset about selling it… because i’ve had to buy a business phone, and stuck with the basic 11 for business. Anyhow: i love the pro models
If you are thinking of a cheaper option(because iPhone 11s are still pretty expensive for how old they are, or you own an 11 pro max and think the 14 is a little expensive) I recommend the iPhone 13, if you can get that new or refurbished you will most likely get a overall better experience than what phone you're using, as long as you're not using a 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 12 pro max, 13 pro max, or you already bought any one of the 14 series.
The iPhone 11s will get up to iOS 18 BTW (The XS and XR get up to iOS 17 and the 8 and X will not get any further upgrades after iOS 16)

Bro, I'm about to pull the trigger on the Pro Max but, could you tell me if 256gb will be enough or I should take the Pro with 512gb? I shoot Youtube videos primarily on Iphones just like you with the Filmic Pro LogV2 in 4k, and will be willing to make use of the Pro res thing as well. Do you think 256gb will be enough for that application? I found both around the same price here in a local shop.

Im dissapointed in the 14 pro max speaker system i had a 11 pro max and the bass and overall sound was much fuller i will be downgrading to a 13 pro max due to this it’s quite sad apple took away something that had been great for so long.

I’m upgrading from a 256gb Xs Max to a 512gb 14 Pro Max and I haven’t kept up with the improvements that the iPhones have had since I bought the Xs Max so its going to be a nice experience as I play catch up 😂

The 11 Pro Max was the best looking iPhone ever made to me. Even though I own an iPhone 13 Pro Max, I am a fan of the round bezels. I hate the boxy sharp angles of the 12+ models. If someone made an 11 Pro Max body which was able to accept the 13 Pro Max internals, I totally would go that route.
2 Years later i wanted the 12 Pro Max. but in 2021 i saw the durability on the 13 Pro Max so i buyed it. and this year i want the 14 pro max becouse of the cameras and the cool new features like, crash detection or dynamic island and 4k cinematic or new action mode.
Did the 11 pro max get the Matter update w 16.1? I can’t find it anywhere
I am so surprised at how little they change. I am holding on to my 12 Pro Max forever, until they actually change something.

I upgraded from the 11 pro max, which I really liked a lot. The 14 pro max edges dig into skin where it rest on my fingers causing small abrasions. It’s very uncomfortable to hold. The 11 pro max felt great in hand. I will definitely upgrade again when Apple goes back to rounded edges.
Why not compare it to a 12 pro max?
Aaron, i noticed everywhere the difference tests exclude iPhone 12. Does it mean the iPhone 12 is a less successor then the iPhone 11 what i have and still love (i have the normal version w 256 gig) ??
Could you do a screen quality comparison video on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro? I feel like the screens are more dull on the non pros, less contrast, flat even when nothing is moving on the screen. Would love to see your take on this if you think it’s a real unadvertised difference.

My fiancé has a 13Pro Max and I have a XS Max and I have been surprised at how long her battery lasts. The XS Max is a bit of a pig in the battery life department.

I just had this SOS only bug over the weekend and still having issues with call and text notifications sounds not always going off. Missing phone calls from my boss at work from it smh. Also sometimes delayed or not responsive lock/Home Screen, I’m running iOS 16.0.3 on iPhone 14 pro max. A few other bugs I have to but minor ones I’d say, example sometimes when I get notifications they are squared off rectangles and not rounded edges.
HOLY CRAP! I just commented on an old video of yours where you compare every iPhone from the SE to the 12 Pro asking you to do a comparison of all the pro models from the 11 to the new 14. I really only asked you to make that video to see this exact comparison because I still have my 11 Pro since it’s release date and I didn’t think any of the iPhones released after the 11 Pro brought anything new or special to the table to make me upgrade even after my free 2 year upgrade was available. But now since my phones old and starting to act old lol I feel like the 14 Pro has enough Pros for me to make the upgrade. Plus I’ll get $800 trade in value for my 11 Pro which will make my
14 Pro Max free and phone bill only $8 a month. So now I’m watching this because I’m excited even though I’m still procrastinating to back up my phone and go to AT&T I figured in the mean time I wanted to know exactly what to look forward to. So, I just want to say THANK YOU!
Still on iPhone 11 Pro Max. I’m waiting until next year for iPhone 15 Pro Max which hopefully will be in titanium. I always choose the Pro Max model for various reasons.

Upgraded from iPhone 11 to iPhone 14 pro max and enjoying the upgrades. I do find the 14pro max to be quite a bit heavier and bulkier but still enjoy it.
I bought a Iphone 14 pro last month and I came from the 11. And it was a pretty huge upgrade for me. Love the 120hz and also the Oled display.

I’m also upgrading from 11 Pro Max Space grey to 14 Pro Max deep purple. I have to say the 14 Pro Max design looks a bit more luxurious but not a huge difference. The biggest difference is the display, dynamic island and the camera. Both phones have amazing experience on watching HDR or Dolby vision videos but the 14 Pro Max looks a bit more saturated and colourful but not a huge difference. However, the 14 Pro Max looks so much brighter under the sun ( 800 nits compared to 2000 nits) also the dynamic island is a really interesting function but sometimes it looks a bit distracting. Like when you having screen recording, the screen capture the island which looks very annoying, but generally it’s a nice function. The animation switched between apps with the island looks fluid and satisfying. The speaker on both phones are great but the 14 Pro Max is so much better in every single way. For the camera, both captures great photos on daylight but the 14 looks a bit more saturated under sunlight. The ultra wide camera performs much better in every condition also it can now capture on low light conditions which is really nice . The stabilisation of video recording on both phones are excellent the 14 Pro does has a bit more stabilised but not a really huge difference so I think definitely a huge upgrade and I think this time it’s worth upgrading.

The ultra-wide shots on my (soon to be sold) 11 Pro Max not only are sharper than on my 14 Pro Max but they look much nicer and natural… Apple needs to dial down that artificial sharpening asap.
