I think both phones are great but you say that that 14 promax lags I don’t think so the Samsung S 23u lags even more and have shooter lags on the camera. If you open and close apps legs are too much,for me the s23 is great the displays is great but overall I think the iPhone it’s much smoother.
Thank you for doing this… Decided to try a Google Pixel 6 Pro last year and it’s the worse phone i’ve ever had. Camera lag, phone calls error, rattle coming from back camera and the battery is trash. Ordering the S23 Ultra👍
ANY ANDROID high end device super great at first.. but wait until 3-5 years of loaded usage… it will become laggy and sucky.. while iOS stay smooth…

If you want downgraded phone then buy the iPhone 14 otherwise the best phone on the market is the Galaxy line. You simply can do more on that phone than on the iPhone.

As a person who’s not on the phone all day, the customization isn’t a big deal. The camera’s great but most of the time I’m taking a video, which is a little bit cleaner on the iPhone, and when I do need to take a picture it’s normally gonna be up close, and they both take great pictures up close.
The iPhone feels more durable but the Samsung feels lighter, tbh most of us are gonna have a case on the phone regardless. With the iPhone being more durable without one, if you are active throughout the day the iPhone would be the one for you.
As a small business owner having a laptop I key for success and having a phone that interacts with the laptop easily helps. Every talks about the “ecosystem” but really it’s just how the phone interacts with the laptop, because you’re not always gonna have access to your PC.
For a everyday productive person iPhone still takes it, most of the customizable features don’t really get used that much.
Obviously if you’re into phones you might wanna give the Samsung a try, you know switch it up a little. But if you’re the average person looking for a flagship that’ll last. Get the iPhone, also while any device can be hacked, apple does have a better track record of security.
I see a lot of phone enthusiast telling you why the Samsung is better.

I think it's annoying that people will wall themselves in with iOS because of the blue bubble peer pressure, especially when it comes to Gen Z. Most everyone knows Android can do more, but they stick with Apple because if iMessage, which the features in that app aren't even necessary, just nice to have. I'm glad people my age (Millennials) don't give a damn about such trivialities.

I have the 14 pro max and the s22u. I feel like the s22u is more of a toy. The iPhone I use for business and getting things done. It’s the software that makes the difference. (I know it’s been said before. But true😅)
At 424… You realize both of these screens are made by Samsung ? You can change that setting in the Samsung try doing that on apple
I think the iPhone looks and sounds better, the look on the Samsung is a little bit blue-ish, the microphone has a high pitch, that is bad to my ears(this was on the front camera comparison), otherwise the Samsung has more vibrancy, and contrast in photos – you can set it as a filter on the iPhone – these are just my personal preferences.
The Galaxy is just better, overall.
Actually Google messenger on the S23 Ultra is way better than imessages now as long as you don't send multiple images. iPhones still has stacked images which looks more neat and organized that's is the only thing I like about imessages. Everything else is better on RCS messaging system. Maybe there is share play which I have never used since I got the iPhone so. I don't stay too far away from those who are close to me. I think that's a feature for long distance relationshits and stuff 😀 Samsung still leads in price for value as S22 Ultra is my Phone, Tablet(Dex with portable touch screen) + Lower end laptop (Dex+Touch screen+USB hub with mouse and keyboard and other accessories) way cheaper than iPhone+iPad+Imac. Plus Apple accessories are not compatible with anything else so, as a consumer I think its a risk to invest in them in case I change my mind in the future to switch as technology changes rapidly (They end up being basically trash since second hand market value is crap).
I've not had either phone, but considering the s23 ultra because lately the iPhones after iOS 16 have more bugs and issues including more battery degrading issues. iPhones do better on standby time but the battery health takes a hit the more charge cycles you have. Not to mention iPhones to me the last few years have been boring and lacking customization or any real innovation. That being said I'm not a brand loyalist as I use whatever OS works well. But I do think the s23 ultra offers you much more for your money. Which is huge for me to say considering I've never been a fan of buying $1200 phones. This is the year that's having me heavily considering getting the s23 ultra and enjoying all the upgrades.

Apple seriously needs to improve color accuracy, and image processing.14 pro max is my first ever iPhone, I upgraded from a Samsung Note10+ and Im kind of disappointed with the camera not gonna lie, color accuracy is really not great and photos of certain kinds of things get over processed to the point of being un useable. I really hope they improve it with future updates. Portrait mode is amazing though, and Apple has the best looking video imo.
