Im hoping to buy the iPhone 14 this year
Wanted to replace my iPhone11 with an iPhone 14ProMax, but without USB-C it is not worth the risk of being strangled by my wife 😉 …. Being a daredevil: So excited about taking a risk when the 15Pro is out. Except if I would win a 14 Pro, the daredevil lifestyle would be postponed by a few years.
The move to USB-C makes good sense to me from a consumer's perspective.
As for the next Apple products I am looking into, I seriously need a new computer to replace my old MacBook Pro 13 from 2016. Am hoping Apple would actually launch a 15 in MacBook Air. Otherwise, probably will be looking at the M2 MacBook Air.

The solid click of lightning port for the life of the iPhone will never be matched in quality. Folks USB-C is not durable for the long term, learn to protect your charge ports and they wont get gunked up with crap that slows things down and ruins the port.
