old man just picked up a 1050 with front wheel assist. 1st diesel engine on the farm.
Congratulations. An yes we have a 2350 mfwd w/ loader & a 4250 mfwd cab an pwr shift
Congratulations on the 12 years. I am trying to watch all of your videos. I enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next 12 years.
Here in UK we had the 50 series but having smaller farms we found the
2850
3050
3350
3650
To be the most common esp on the west side of the uk.
My personal favourite was the 3650, 116hp but opened up to provide 130 hp.
This was just about the last generation of lever over linkage type tractors. Before all electric came in. I know a farmer who bought a 3650 in 85 and its still going strong..From new it had 3 oil changes per year i guess thats one reason why its still going strong over 11,000 hours..
An 8850 was referred to as Mack Superliner of the Paddock,s/Fields
So nice 👍🏻😊
awesome. loved anything in Soundgard 50-60 series, especially FWD, the last real Iron Horses before it all went to software and chips Happy Anniversary, keep up those cool John Deere vids
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and Thank You for so many great videos! !!!
Work for a dealership from 85 to 89 50 series rules!! Forgot about the 8850 never anything that big around here…
Lot of 42 44 two wheel models every where around here
8850 JDs greatest rig🤠raw look of power.
Great job Jason ! Happy anniversary ! Thanks always !
I drove a 4850 and we put 5 inch straight pipe on it .MFWD
You definitely got to love the sound of a straight pipe on a John Deere. Brings back a lot of memories That's all my father would run with straight pipes on Are John deeres
👍
Great vídeo Jason.
Great works!
Older deeres in the field is always great to see👍😉 that are some nice looking machines😁👍
My sister still has the 4050 MFD dad bought new in the 80s. Along with newer JDs. Still my favorite to run on the farm, only one I can truly understand after being gone for 30 years!
Always like it when you put these classic videos together Jason; you do such a good job with not only the videography, but narration as well. Your 8850 looks beautiful and my other favorite on here is the 8650 pulling the air drill. I have more respect for farmers who are trying to do a good job with well-kept older tractors & equipment than I do the big guys who have all new and seem to want for nothing…maybe it’s bc I am the smaller guy with older well-kept equipment & tractors trying to make it.
4450 and the 8650 my favorite 4450 4455 are pretty dominant big tractors around here along with 7810s
On my bucket list is to own an '84 8850, and to pilot one of those big boogers.
Great Video, I'm a Blue (Ford) fan, but I love watching these big green machines, Thanks for sharing
Congrats, this is one of my favorite channels 🤠🤠
Keep up the good work I drove an 8650 one of the last one sold in the Milford Delaware area it replaced an 8630
Man that is so cool Jason that you’ve been on YouTube for 12 years, with that many videos, that many subscribers & had that amount of time watched on your videos. You are a master of your craft. Keep churning out these amazing videos.
Happy anniversary
Great channel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fnu-wGDun4g – Always remember seeing these tractors in my grandfather's "The Furrow" magazines….which is crazy since he had only Fords.
Funny how a clean low hour 50 series fwa will bring close to new price these days, these tractors an the 20 series combines are what set the standards in the 80's and well into the 90's
We've got a 4850 thats an absolutely amazing machine!! More power than we need but works effortlessly!! These are the best tractors that John Deere made IMO!!
