It seems LG has the knack of pushing out phones that end up with nothing more than the “underrated” title getting slapped on it. The G7 ThinQ is no exception. I purchased this phone myself, used it as my main phone for a couple weeks, and I genuinely believe it’s something worth checking out mainly because of its competitive feature set and recent price drops!

Just picked one up for $100 excellent condition. Screen finally giving out on my Moto G7, so I'm actually upgrading by getting this older flagship. lol

My wife got one. It worked great for 2 years an then the battery went bad. Of course, you CAN'T get a new battery installed. What a total ripoff. L G and other manufacturers have built into the phones auto destruct. Criminals.
Just got this bad boy for 160
Its overratted. I use it. With it 845 snapdragon. Not impressed with the performance. Lag everywhere.

What I like about LCD screens is that they don't end up with image burns like the so called flahship phones do because they have amoled or oled screens.. thanks LG for THINQ-ing on that.👍🏽👌🏽

Happy with mine. Just the right size. I do wish I could send videos without using another data program/APP. Big pain in the ass, as that person has to upload the app in order for receive my vids. Also…I want to transfer data from my Lg G7 to my Mac. All the Apps and other programs available don't work. I actually need an old fashioned cord, really?? I can't even send pics or vids to Facebook. The old Lg phones it was a snap to do both of those things, not so anymore. Truthfully, as I write this…Im very irritated. Please fix the lack of compatibility.
I've had this phone for about 1 year now and the only problem I have is with the battery life. I can barely get through a day with moderate use, and the battery saver mode just makes the software supper laggy. Some crashes eventually occur too, it ain't the smoothest phone ever
Opinions: G7 still worth it in 2020??
After having series of iPhones and Samsungs phones I came across LG G7 ThinQ and finally found my peace with having smartphone. Honestly, very stable, reliable phone I ever had. Very user friendly and meeting most of my expectations, except camera (iPhone camera is great!). For very strange reason LG phones are very much underrated. I just hope LG will continue to manufacture them, cause my next phone will be LG as well.

This was a very well made and commented review. Nice. The lcd screen over oled is disappointing. I had the g6 and loved that one, minus the easily scratched camera, but I might pick the G7 up thanks to your review.
Just bought this phone in 2020 for $140, seeing this guy say it's a great deal at 600 makes me feel very proud of my choice heh

It's a great phone packed with great features, but they couldn't put a bigger battery in there? Some phones now have a 5000 mAh battery and the G7 ThinQ basically has the same battery size as the G2

Some things.
1. Use Up swipe to bring up navigation buttons when they disappear.
2. MicroUSB has a propriety connector
3. The included Wireless phone stand may stop working correctly. It did this to me.
Does it still have the removable battery?
