I take a look at the new Snapshot updates available this week for Minecraft 1.8, 14w30a, 14w30b & 14w30c, and run down the list of new features & fixes added, including new custom Banners with 33 unique dye patterns (Creeper, Skull, Flower, Stripes, Cross, Mojang Logo, etc) to make player customized flags with 6 layers that animate wave in the wind, a way to use Charged Creepers to get Zombie, Skeleton, & Creeper heads in Survival mode, the summon Lightning command, seeing up to 32 Chunks away in view distance, greatly increased game performance & FPS, fixes to the Lighting bugs that made black shadows, and a Silent entity tag. Also, tons of optimizations, bug fixes, & more! Thanks for watching guys…1.8 is gearing up for a release date coming soon!
