In my state, South Carolina, we have a ridiculous law where if you hit the back of a vehicle it is automatically your fault.
If a scammer actually just slams on the brakes out of nowhere, or pulls out in front of you and gets their car turned enough to where you hit their rear end, you'll lose in court.
