Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. Can you tell us more about the new tractor? What is the HP? How much does it lift? How high does the bucket go? What did it cost new? How many hours are on it? (I thought I heard you say 800.) What was the current cost? Etc.

How many horse power is your new loader tractor? Calves are like children if want to play , they are feeling ok!
You have a active drive 8. Sweet transmission. As noted you don’t have to clutch to switch gears. Say if you are in A8 and go to B range it will shift to the gear closest to the speed you are going and then ease up to the speed you have set. It is a dual clutch transmission so it kind of works like a CVT but not exactly. Have fun!
That was one nasty storm system. I miss being on the farm with the calves in the Spring. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
That little orange lever isn't for the cvt. With that transmission it is used to controll how aggressivly it shifts in automatik mode.

U don’t have to clutch to go from one range to the next u just have to use the second function button on the back of the handle
