The first day of school, otherwise known as Reception Day, is a momentous event as it marks the beginning of a PMMA Cadet’s voyage to a career in the maritime industry.

Hey guys!!! It's finally here! I have been very busy lately because I'm already preparing for my next vessel assignment. That means I have to report to the office all the time for processing, training and all that stuff. Which also means I will be going back onboard a ship in a few weeks time so I will be able to make new episodes of Seaman Vlogs with topics which a lot of you have requested!!! In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this video. This is how we welcome new cadets to our school. I'll probably be able to make one more PMMA video before I go back to sea. And that will be about the Oath-taking of the new 4th Class Midshipmen! We will find out how many of the 389 probationary midshipmen successfully survived the Probationary Period and qualify to be accepted as full-fledged members of the PMMA Corps of Midshipmen. 😀👍

Sir bakit napakagrabe ang training sa pmma diba seaman din lang BSMT,BSMARE,AMT,AME lang sa barko kasi naumpisahan ko noon bsmt npcmsts lingsat sanfernando la union, but di ko natapos nagfishing ako singapore nadismaya ako,kaya pinili ko mag saudi nalang,hindi ko akalain na para kang nagtraining na maging marine talaga, officer na pang digma .
Pangarap ko talaga to, nakakaiyak lang isipin na di ako naka pasok. grabe yung hirap ang pinagdaanan naman simula nung entrance exam hanggang medical. malaki ang nagastos namin dahil lumipad pa kami ng iloilo para medical exam tapos madami pang ngipin na pinaayos. akala ko talaga yun nalang kulang, nalaman ko nalang na di talaga ako pwede kasi may deperensya mata ko. Apat na taon na ang nakakalipas pero nanghihinayang parin talaga ako. ngayon nawala na kumpyansa ko sa sarili wala na akong gana mag aral 🙁

Hi take time to read my 3am thoughts :'( lumabas na naman sa yt ko to, sobra pa din akong nanghihinayang sa sinapit ko na disqualification dahil sa cyst na never naman sumakit at umiinda, pinakapangarap ko maging kadete at marino at alam kong ito ang tulay para sa pangarap ko. I passed the entrance examination at Neuro Exam pinag hirapan at pinag trabahuhan ko lahat mg proseso at mga pambayad sa medical at lahit aning compliance 1 week nalang bago ang orientation nakatanggap ako ng mail na DQ ako pero di ko nataning ang dahilan dahil walang yung dr. Pero sa kaloob looban ko alam kona kung ano, sobrang basag ako g mga araw na yun yung tipo na malapit kana sa peak ng pangarap mo tas bigla kang lalagapak sa pinaka ibudhuran hanggang ngayon dahan dahan ko pa din binubuo ang sarili ko nawawala man ako sa landas na gusto kong tahakin pa tuloy pa din ako maging positibo sa mga hamon sa buhay hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa din nakikita ang purpose ko sa buhay nagpapadala nalang ako sa agos ng alon o baka hindi pa binibigay ni lord ang para sakin nagiging patient nalang ako sa mga nangyayari dahil alam ko one day matutupad ko din to o kaya baka kahit physically at mentally ready ako nung panahon na yun e baka hindi academically so ayun ngayon naipasa ko uli ang entramce exam at sumusubok sa pangalawang pagkakataon hindi na ako umaasa na tulad noon pero who knows? Kung nabasa mo hanggang dito mag pa tuloy ka lang sa pangarap mo patience is a virtue kahit anong hamon ng buhay ay lumaban ka lang kahit hindi mo makamit basta sinubukan mo. Goodnight ♥️
