"We wanna just capture the moment" the most accurate sentence depicting what most of the consumers actually needed

J’ai un 12Pro Max et j’hésite à retourner chez Android .
Je passerai au S23U si la batterie a vraiment été amélioré .

If you don't like the crushed blacks, orange/yellow tint, overblown highlights and horrible HDR on the iPhone then yes you should upgrade

I've got a S21 Ultra & Can't Waite to Upgrade to S23 Ultra.

Unlike Apple 🍎, Samsung brings Alot of changes to their phone and give Amazing bonuses for their customer. Which I Admire Alot.

Not everyone wants the zoom just to look at the moon & many of us have many different lifestyles & interests. For me the zoom feature will be very helpful when walking with my collie dogs in the countryside. The maps do not show detours & can be out of date with mew routes. I can zoom in across the field to the other side & search for the footpath sign and/or the yellow arrow in the hedge. Having many times wasted time tyi g to find the exit or new exit. There may even be more than one exit & saves you getting lost. This really would be helpful when there are cows/bull/horses in the field, with my walking stick at the ready incase they charge. Knowing the exit beforehand will be so helpful & better than binoculars with the different zoom focus. Also looking at the cliff edges ahead & looking at the topography of the land & livestock, ie sheep & get my dogs on a lead beforehand.

The only thing 8k video is good for is grabbing a frame for a awesome picture or uploading to YouTube as a 4k video, it should hold more detail than a standard 4k video

95% the same, not worth it

Hihhuli

The zoom is good enough already, but the regular 4k video quality needs to be improved in my opinion.

I have the s22 ultra, and I honestly think the video quality is NOT good enough. The iPhones beat it by a mile with their natural and crisp look to the video. The s22 ultra's video looks quite overprocessed while lacking detail. This is especially noticeable when there are trees or other high detail objects in the frame

I will be upgrading from my Exynos S21 Ultra to the Snapdragon S23 Ultra as I really miss the S pen functionality (I used to own a Note 9) and the leap to Snapdragon over here in the UK is quite exciting. The selfie cam does drop from 40Mp to 12Mp and will lose zoom in functionality on it's images despite what Samsung says about it's software enhancements. I don't use the selfie cam anyway so it is a mute point for me but not for many. I will be holding on to my S21U as my second phone and as a photography comparison point because I love the thing overall. It's video quality can be inconsistent though and I look to an improvement in quality on the 23U.

It’s a huge upgrade in the uk…. No longer the crap exynos chip!!

I was the biggest Apple fan too years a go I had every Apple product could not convince me otherwise , however i jumped ship to Android 3 years ago and have not looked back sold all my Apple gear and have windows pc etc., I love Samsung galaxy products just sold my S22 ultra in preparation for the the new S23 ultra, I am using a Pixel 7 pro in the mean time don't love it or hate it just miss One UI and have reserved my new S23 ultra in cotton flower colour 512gb looking forward to it.

Well said sir.

I will be upgrading to the s23 ultra from my s22ultra. I am in the US and we get ridiculous trade in and ore order bonuses. Plus the reserve bonus. I only paid like 300 for my s22ultra so it's a no brainer. The s23 ultra with the snap dragon 8 gen 2 is allegedly going to have way better battery, a more powerful cpu that is benched higher than the a15 bionic and slightly less then the a16 but the gpu is better than what apples uses not as well. Now the s23ultra will be able to have a more powerful processor to help with photography.

Yes, how many photos of the moon can you be excited by? Just go online; there are thousands of fantastic moon views!!! I also agree with 8K; who uses that? I still record in 1080p, which is good enough for my work needs and much easier to store and share. As for 200mp, well, it may be better, but TBH, all 2022 flagship smartphones had superb cameras, and we have reached a point where any improvements for most users are just nitpicking or subjective.

I would say that if the s-pen is not a prerequisite, which is not for me, then even if you have an S21U, maybe even an S20U, there is no reason to spend £1450 on the 12GB S23U.

I'm staying with my S22 Ultra 1TB, the small differences with the S23Ultra are not worthy for a trade in. Just like I stayed with my Watch 4 classic… Watch 5… no bezel… what was Samsung thinking.
