Reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go, a 14-inch Chrome OS laptop with LTE support. It’s not the most budget friendly option but if you want to stay connected everywhere, the Galaxy Chromebook Go is one of the best.
You can bag one on contract from Vodafone here:
Sadly Samsung’s mini laptop is flawed in a couple of areas. That display is simply not good enough for the price, with rivals from Asus, HP, Lenovo and more offering stronger media chops. I also saw some performance issues although on the whole the Chromebook Go behaved itself.
Connectivity is respectable for a laptop of this ilk, while the keyboard is a joy to use for extended periods – despite the lack of backlighting. The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go enjoys all day battery life like many of its peers as well. Add in the 4G cellular support and Wifi 6 networking, and this is a good option for mobile workers. As long as you can overlook the poor screen, that is.

1366×768? What is this 2007?
Ha ha, shock resistant and you has to test that by banging it on the desk, you are really trusty and wait is there really a Harry Potter bdsm parody? Anyway sounds like a good device but can't a person get more features on slightly cheaper device?
HARRY POTTER BDSM FANFICTION WHAT.
no touch screen !! forget it
Did someone say Harry Potter BDSM?
Thanks. I won't be buying this.
non FHD IPS display for me is a deal breaker
Where is your kitty ? 😊
Basically charging you an extra £200 for a 4G modern.
Dang that price point is brutal. I have a Lenovo Flex 11 from 2018 with an N5000. Very similar specs to this and back then it cost $300 usd. The only thing different is the Samsung one has LTE.
Samsung is crazy to charge $500 for these older specs.
That screen, no thanks!!!!!
I have one of these and it's pure trash. That being said I got it used for 150 USD on eBay. I popped a fi data sim in it. Now it's the off grid value of the decade. I was forced to use it last night when my internet went out(again).
Aww bummer about that display, viewing angles look ready bad! Hmm I wonder if any DAWs work on Chrome OS.
How's chrome os like? Can you please do a video on it?
we need more chromebook and tablet reviews
Might as well get a half decent laptop for that price or a tablet
Not worth the price
Why do all Chromebooks look like arse? And if it claims to be spill-resistant let's see that tested. It's cheap enough to be put to the test. What's the point of reviews if we just regurgitate manufacturer's specs? Is the screen 300 nits? Did you test that? Or just another quoted spec? All I got from this was blah, blah, blah. This is a proper example of just churning out content for content's sake. Make an effort.
stopped watcing at 4:34 cuz that laptop sucks.. especiially the display
With this level of effort, chrome would never take off
The hardware with the software is basically crap for another year already
768p ….. in 2022… for £400 beans? yeah no..hard pass
That display alone is a huge dealbreaker for me. 1366×768 in 2022 is just plain bad.
They should've put in an HD Display. If they'd leave out the LTE Connectivity, the difference in price wouldn't even be that bad and it'd make this notebook a lot more interesting.
A non-IPS screen, at this price point? Oh my.
It's weak as hell
no touch screen? what are we back in ice apple age?
I am a gorgeous pip! 😆
It looks good, but shame it doesn't light up the keyboard when use it. I have a Samsung tablet and phone but use an Apple MacBook Air and it's really good considering a totally different company.
Bad screen is a no.
