How do I get the led light to come on for night time video filming , it works when I take photo`s thgough ..

Hi, Sir. We had a chance to see Aurora Borealis. Unfortunately, my S20 FE wasn't able to capture it, but my kids' iPhone 11 and 11 pro were able to get it. Would you be able to teach how to take photos in a literally no light, just the northern lights. Thank you.

Need to remember that with a photo the entire sensor is being used and with video a crop of the sensor is being used, hence a different focal length.
Also less pixels result in less grain and more light gathering and an improved dynamics range.. all photography parameters being equal.
You can't changed physics.
Processing is what makes the difference.. too much or not enough.
Also worth noting is using the telephoto lens is usually just switching to a smaller sensor thus bringing object closer but often reducing picture quality as the telephoto " technically not telephoto as thier fixed lenses" are much smaller with far less dynamic range.
It's always a trade off.
I hate this fe. So many issues and things that don't work. How do you turn the night mode OFF. It seems to be on all the time and washes out all my pictures. How can I want true to life colors on my pictures in the day time. That is impirtant to me as well as night.

On the product shots, Ultra has focus on buds and grass is blurry (bokeh) but on FE focus in on the grass so that's why buds there are blurry.
I see the S20 FE has an anomaly similar to my Pixel 3a. If you look at the video from the SE at 3:38, the static background is moving in the areas where your shoulders and arms are moving. I can't stand when it does that on my Pixel. I just wouldn't expect it on a phone that costs more than twice as much.

You can adjust the brightness of the night mode to match the s20 fe. Maybe make it even better therefore n20 series has better night mode

I just learned how to use pro video mode on the note. And I can honestly say, if you learn how to use pro video mode on the note, it's better than the iphone video. Without pro video mode, the iPhone video is slightly better
Someone posting this video is blind clearly. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a better night mode and mine is Exynos.

Just ordered the ☁️ red FE. Played around with one at Verizon. Wow, that 120hz display blew my shorts off. Plus blazing fast? I can't wait to get my hands on this guy? I honestly think even at the retail price it's kind of a no-brainer. Great job Samsung!
I think this guy is trying to put a case forward to say the FE camera is excellent compared to the Ultra, however anyone who really has both phones to their disposal can easily see that the Ultra totally annihilates the FE. There really is no comparison. The FE is good but can't compete with the ultra. Stop fooling people! Go to a store and try them both out and you will see this guy is talking 🗑

Definitely isn't the case on my exynos model. Night mode on my ultra looks alot better than my FE. Snapdragon just takes shitter photos.
