Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs S21 Ultra – The REAL Upgrade?

While the S21 Ultra was a great device, the s23 ultra is definitely a noticeable upgrade. It's faster, runs cooler, takes better pictures, and much better videos and lasts much longer. Even with the Snapdragon variant, the S21 Ultra did lag in some areas and had quite often dropped frames and stutters when opening closing applications quickly. These issues are almost all completely fixes with the s23. That was my main reason for upgrading. Also, despite both variants having 12gb of RAM, I noticed that my 23 Ultra almost never has to reload applications in memory. Some people don't notice these things but I did all the time and it's worth the upgrade for me.

I own an s21 and I'm upgrading s23

I've had my 21 ultra around a year and has an amazing durability screen on the front. But the back is glass isnt even though you don't expect it to be glass. I found out when I took my case off and it had a spider web

The speaker placement would cover up when I used it one handed on the s21ultra but I see what your saying but you take a lose either way it should be placed at the bottom just like the top speaker is in the screen instead Honesty cuz your Ganna cover it regardless if you use in in portrait or not

Is S21 ultra have pen together with it or only S23 Ultra?

Love my s21 Ultra. Just hate how I got the 120gb and half of that was the system storage. Now I'm debating to upgrade just because of storage and yes, I hate portable storages

the flattened edges the quicker responce the fast af fingerprint sensor and the battery life id say all the way around s23 is a phone worth the upgrade

I love my s21 ultra. Got it when I first got my first high paying job and Its been my daily driver since then. I noticed the battery isnt as strong as it once was but I love the design and how comfortable it is to hold that it doesnt phase me. I wish Samsung would have kept that design for the newer Ultras and kept the Note series separate

Also the ram of s23 ultra is new it is ddr5 compare to ddr4 on s21 ultra

I have S21U and honestly I don't have any reason to change this year. Great device overall maybe I will consider changing to the S24U.

I dropped my s21 ultra and the screen simply disinterested.

I'm the weirdo who also comes from a s21U, but I purchased the base S23 instead. I'm just tired of bulky phones, and battery (which was my main concern) doesn't seem to be a problem with the smaller version this year so I just went for it.

The design of samsung s21 ultra is still fresh..

O really don’t like s22 ultra, or s23 ultra , they’d look like Sony xperia z, so they remind me this old phone look like. S21 ultra has round edges and it’s really good looking, more modern look like. I prefer my s21 ultra for shore.

What really makes me wonder is why Samsung that uses to be the king of versatility doesn't have in their camera's a long exposure option. Not a night long exposure but a normal daytime long exposure option. Many other brands have it already, this type of photography is awesome, I would love even more Samsung smartphones if they had this mode.
Is there any app on the Playstore that can be used to do long exposure photos on Android?
I know there is Pro Mode but..
On IOS I know there is an app called Slow Shutter that is awesome for that.

Do not20 ultra want yo know if it's worth upgrading to the s23 ultra

I'll keep my S21 Ultra until the S29 Ultra comes out.
