Buyer beware!! Your phone crease WILL become damaged, and just randomly. And the maker of the phone will do nothing for you if the crease causes the screen to bleed! Food for thought… if you still think you want this phone, BUY THE INSURANCE!!!

Warning don't buy! The screen does crack at the fold. Buy the insurance samsung will want you to send ur phi e in for repair and only 1 time . No phone center will fix due to not the right tools samsung gave them. Terrible phone
I have to return mine for "observation" because the part of the hinge scratches another when flipping close or open and the plating/paint has peeled away and it was only with me for two weeks! Very disappointed because I paid for it in full and in just a short time this already happened. I wouldn't mind it if the phone was not pricey, but it is very expensive.

One of the issues I noticed with my flip 3 is tiny micro tears along the inside fold on the screen. This is with maybe 7 months of regular use, so my question is: did they do anything to reinforce the screen or raise the dipped part in the middle?
Not worth the upgrade from the 3 imo. Unless they fixed the cracking issue in the middle of the screen.

Its not just a better CPU its 3 bumps higher than the Flip 3. The Flip 3 had an 888. After that they came out with the 888+, 8 Gen 1, and the Flip 4 runs the 8+ Gen 1. The 8+ Gen 1 is has 47% faster graphics than just the 8 Gen 1, I can only imagine how much faster it is over the much older 888. Honestly, its a bigger upgrade than the iphone 13 to the 14.
Z Flip 3 battery life is the worse between all the phones i owned. Constantly needs charging for a full day of use.

Man, you need to work something off in marketing your channel. I've said it before and I'll say it again: your demonstration style is great and distinctive, and you deserve a lot more subscribers.
Can't wait for the full review of the new flip and fold. If I can make any request, I would ask that you separately review the devices. I have little interest in the flip but I just love the idea of the fold. I use mostly apple devices, so neither of these phones fits into my life currently. However, if there was an android phone I would consider, it would be the fold. Can't wait to hear your thoughts, including about the camera performance. I thought if there was one thing Samsung would change this year it would be that the fold would get flagship cameras, the same cameras that are on the s22 ultra specifically. I guess that didn't come to pass, unfortunately. Nonetheless, it'll be nice to hear how much of a sacrifice one will be making in the camera department by choosing the fold over the ultra.

#Flip4 #FAQ – Hi Matt, I just pre-ordered the Flip 4, will be receiving my device on the 27th of August, had a few questions and would really appreciate if you could clarify –
1. I know that the Fold 4 is peak android, might even call it peak smartphone, there's no match or comparison, but will the flip 4 be a big compromise even for mundane regular/normal smartphone user? I am not a power user, so my choices were either the S22 or the Flip 4, how do they compare? As a regular user, what am I missing out on if I choose the Flip 4 over regular smartphones?
2. I am not a huge photo nerd, I do click the occasional photos with my phone. I have been using the iphone 12 mini and I am very happy with it's camera, if the Flip 4 matches this quality, I would be very content. In that regard, while it's a no match for the S22 Ultra and the Fold 4, is it still an overall solid dependable shooter for the casual users like us? In comparison to the iphone 12, how well does the Flip 4's cameras stack up?
3. I am not into handheld/smartphone gaming, so considering normal usage, what kind of a battery life can I expect from the Flip 4? Is 6hrs SOT a fair assumption? I am a sucker for compact phones, the reason why I stuck with the 12 mini despite of it's ridiculed battery life. From the early impression videos everywhere I am sure it is better than the 12 mini's battery life, just wanted to know by how much more is it better.
4. Lastly, again keeping in point that I don't game at all, will the flip 4 still be prone to device heating and thermal throttling even when used as a regular smartphone? as In basic internet, google assistant, google search, youtube, mails, whatsapp, the occasional photo click, some calls and maybe listening to music….that's about it…
1 honest gripe I have with the flip 4 is the omission of DEX, I have a galaxy tab S8 and I love the DEX functionality, was really hoping to get that on the phone. And maybe an S-pen support as well, but that would be too far for the compact foldable.
