In everything it's amazing
The outer display is actually really nice. I upgraded from my S22 Ultra to the fold 4 and this is the perfect phone to use with one hand when needed. Esp when driving or walking, it's perfect to hold with one hand and to look at notifications quickly. I'm also surprised at his review with its battery. I've been able to EASILY get through the whole day without charging it for about 14-15 hours with moderate to heavy use. If I use it lightly, I can get through a day and a half without charging. The only compromise I'd personally say is that it is a bit thicker and the cameras aren't as good as the S22 Ultra, but I'm not a "pro" photographer and I have thicker pockets since I'm a guy. His point about the app compatibility is true though. Other than that, I LOVE my fold 4 and my friends, including my apple worshiping friends, have raved about my phone when I showed them.
All the main apps are flexible. Even apps that aren't flexible can be fixed with Samsung Good lock. This review is very negative. My experience is just amazing with Z fold 3 for the past year and going back to bar phones seems difficult.
so clearly, the s22 ultra is still winning this battle. i own the s22 ultra at the moment… and i was going to buy this one… now knowing that the s pen isn't integraded is a big no for me. and also price point…

I just tested out this bad boy Samsung fold 4 and really enjoyed it, just the price point of 1800 bucks is a little extreme.
The only good thing about this phone is the software.. The hardware is outdated, stupid and ugly

What happened to Samsung? Why until Z4 still so ugly once you fold it, you can still see the gap between them? Very far from design of Huawei and even with the neophyte Xiaomi. So disappointing.
Horrible phone. Dropped it once and the front screen no longer works. And it's a folding phone so you can't buy a case for it that makes any sense.

Nah we aren't there with foldables yet it's Just Samsung doing Samsung stuff. They can make the outer screen wider if they wanted to but they won't that we can buy the fold 5 in the future smh
Speakers sound quality can be adjust vith equalizer and it sounds much better than iphones

Definitely don't wear that jacket while making videos. They're famously loud and your good microphone picks up all that noise.
Phone companies nowadays are focussing on the devices appearance more than their hardwares. This is exactly what happened with Nokia because they were out of new innovations at the time, which led new phone companies to come up and take over the market. I am sure that by 5 years or so, there will be a new competitor in the market that will change the phone concept forever.
If the iphone is better on 1 thing (sound quality) you mention that. Why do you not mention that the screen is better on the Galaxy, that the productivity is better than on an iphone, that usability is better than on an iphone, that the gaming experience is bettter than on an iphone et cetera.

i've had the fold2 and 3, now have the fold4… was thinking to switch to S22, but everytime i unfold it, i'm pulled right back in. for me, the crease is a non-issue.

Outer display has exactly the same width as iPhone 13 mini has, but taller. It's absolutely comfortable for me for basic tasks like answering text messages, using banking apps, scrolling Instagram or Twitter etc. Even reading books on the go is pretty comfortable for me
The fold is still a niche product, for those who will genuinely find value of the product replacing multiple devices its awesome. If you are just replacing a standard form phone I think there is still compromise to be made.
Battery is still the weak point in my experience so far.
The dock is a highlight and makes multi tasking a breeze.
How the speaker place can be a downside using the fold in landscape mode ? Just use it on the other side ! I think it was even built that way.

That case of yours is especially galling because you can have either the pen OR the stand, but not both at the same time😡 A triumph of form over function… The phone I love, however, been lusting after it since the first one came out. The planets finally aligned and thanks to generous offers for loyalty from my provider, Samsung's recycling discount and the trade-in value of my venerable S10+ (in Europe/Luxembourg) I took the plunge and no regrets yet after 2 weeks! Thanks for the video!
