Hands-up if you've got a UK version of the S22 Ultra and you've not experienced the same issues as me…
Mark, this is literally the best intro I have seen on your channel 🙂 I have to admit that I'm one of the guys who came back to S22 Ultra last week, now I got Android 13 plus OneUI 5 and this is totally different experience of using this phone comparing to March when I sold it :D. I have to admit that was thinking if I should go for Samsung or Pixel, but Samsung wins for me as a whole package. The main reason why I decided to take Samsung is sound capabilities, where all is prepare by AKG. Music listening experience is top of the tier here and always been for Samsung BTW. The best Bluetooth audio on the market (now when we all miss LG in smartphone world). I never thought I will say it but I really like S22 Ultra 😀
I've had the S22 Ultra Exynos version since launch and haven't really noticed any of the issues with lagging or stuttering. Only issue for me has been with compass direction in OS maps (an issue also found on my S21 Ultra, but not on the standard S21 that I tried for a short time).
Completely agree that the Pixel 7 Pro looks like an amazing deal for the price compared to the S22U, however Pixels of the past few years haven't been without their software and hardware issues.
The thing that makes me stick with Samsung are the features that Apple is often praised for that I don't hear most YouTubers talk about; with the Phone Link app built into the Samsung and Windows 10/11 OS you get universal copy/paste between phone and laptop, the ability to pull photos and videos directly from your gallery on your laptop, the option to read and reply to messages and make and receive calls, view and action notifications and even see and interact with your phone apps and phone screen directly on your Windows computer (even Apple doesn't do that – not intended to cause arguments).
All that aside, the 10x optical zoom has been a big win for me with both the S21U and S22U.

I saw several comparisons of the google pro 7 vs s22 ultra and everyone compares them because the s22 ultra has a low price around 600 700 dollars

I have to disagree with you, my Samsung S22 Ultra has been great since i bought it – I leave in the UK too and i bought it with my iPhone 13 pro Max and speed and usability has been same for both. I'm concerned when people who primarily use iphones review a Samsung phone for few days and bin them to rush back to thier iphone. The phone is great with Exynos. The usability has been great from day one for me.
I wonder why Samsung hates the UK.
Still not smooth enough in my humble opinion. Samsung needs to fire their Software Developers
I have been very abusive to my Exynos S22U as it sucked. That is until more recently. The Aug update made the lag better, the Sept improved the battery, and the Oct made RAM management less intrusive. So, as we entered month 8 of my experience, it is finally closer to being usable. Let’s not go all OTT, it still, compared to my Pixel 6 Pro (took 4-5 months to be good), is second best, and for those choosing between a P7P and the Exynos S22U, buy the Pixel or wait for the S23U.
I see the Samsung shills all saying the S22U is the phone of the millennium and all sorts of hyperbole, but when Europe gets such a disappointing version, the S22U does not deserve to be in the top 5 of 2022. By the way I kept it, as selling it would have meant a loss of £600 in a few months due to Samsung dumpster dumping resale value. It will be traded in for an S23U in due course, and good riddance.

Too little too late for me, traded my Exynos S22U for the Fold4 (got an amazing trade in deal too), have not looked back, really disappointed with my S22U. As I've agreed with you on your S22U video I had massive lags and gave up on the phone. Happy to report nothing like that at all on the Fold4, plus the battery life is better on the Fold4 than my previous??? The price of the P7P is unbelievable value I think for any flagship.

What are the update versions? Security patch etc. No update for my Exynos S22 Ultra. Put Nova launcher on & it is much faster the one UI launcher.
Samsung has had the local and roaming time on their always on display for about 4+ years now!
I probably returned my S22ULTRA too soon. Now I have a Pixel 7 Pro but battery life isn't great. I also noticed that the scrolling behavior with one hand isn't as smooth like my S21U. What's your opinion.

Interesting update. I’ll stick with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Samsung have lost the plot. As has Apple with its current iPad pricing let alone the accessories. Time you did a damning vid on Apples new level of greed

i have an S10 still, and Im gonna try to keep it as long as I can. but I really like my AOD personally and there's all kinds of fun little AOD displays you can choose from. i genuinely dont know how Apple got it so wrong. i was really surprised when the Apple reviews came out and the AOD was not even fully black screened like it should be. weird stuff. maybe theyll fix it with a software update????? seems like that would be an easy fix but i dunno
anyways, great video! i might wait for the s23 / ultra whatever other editions they release. i really like samsung and ive been trying to hold out for a really nice upgrade! feels better when you wait 🙂 ♡
