Your new eye glasses are awesome

The Boss ( No Competition)

The question is: Will the S95C have the same Peak brightness in HDR at start as after a few firmware updates?
You never know thats the scary part.
you have no control over these tvs..if Samjung wants to cut 400 nits they do it even if you have disabled auto updates.
Its far more secure to buy their upcoming Mini LED (as i probably will do) they are not part of this Nerfing madness.

The Boss ( No Competition)

Soo thin?
So the idiots at Samsung doesnt learn.
thin means agressive ABL and low "nerfed"? peak brightness again since the TV cant handle the heat…because its soooooo thiiiin.
i already got an answer from Samsung why they nerfed the S95b and it was because of this thiiin shit.
their prio is design not performance.
if you want performance go for Mini LED…beacuse they are thicker and can get rid of the heat.

I love your channel. Always excellent information and great jokes. Thanks!

Dr. Whet Farts

No thanks, S90C without One Connect Box for sure. I hate the One Connect Box.

Takumi Fujiwara

its pointless to have the thinness if it doesn't have the durability; see samsung's S95B. If Samsung wants to fight the competition they need to step up on software and quality. They should look at how LG do it instead of trying to one-up them without producing something horrible.

The NEW Samsung Odyssey Neo G9--57 inch– 240 Hz — 1 MS—was unveiled at CES 2023!!!

Mike Younes

So which is the best BIGGEST screen tv to get between sony lg samsung just gonna use it for games and all cod game multiplayer and movies?

Evan Rogerson

That panel is going to bend it like Beckham

Love all your videos, always informative!
This is completely unrelated but could you maybe explain or do a video on how to use Dolby Atmos on the PS5 with Bravia tvs? If it's even truly Dolby Atmos and how does it compare to the PS5's 3d audio?
Also, apparently you can also do Dolby vision on the PS5 with a Bravia tv?

Been watching Vincent for years, and still have never seen the “Smoke Gradation” setting he speaks of.

gertost

It would be cool of you made a video where you compared tvs from the past years,to new ones.Like 2016 models and upwards to 2023.And if its worth upgrading.Or if you own a newer televison, you could probably wait a few more years.I have an 2019 samsung q82r 55 inc and an Lg oled b6 55 inc.Is it worth upgrading to 2022 model? Oled, qoled,or neoquled?

Hello from India
i am planning buy a TV but after watching CES2023 i am really confused what to buy, i am looking for a 65inch TV
and i want my TV to have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with HDR10+ which completely eliminates all the Samsung Tv options
dont know when TCL QM8 will launch in India i liked the specs of the TV
how much brightness nits should i look for in a TV to experience the best Dolby Vision experience..?

dark4o90

There is no point of making them so thin and fragile. I've seen few S95B – all of them bent. Better get Sony or LG. I don't thing anyone cares about few cm of thickness rather than having a new expensive tv that is bent since you open it

microled is king

Inb4 Scamsung nerfs their 2023 displays through firmware again.

Hi Vincent I was wondering if you could look into the latest fw on the Philips 706/806/856 please.

The problem is monitor mode which is the only mode capable of full 4k 120hz vrr but I have noticed on modern warfare 2 on ps5 weird green flashes or screen tearing on the top 3rd of the screen, when I check device info the TV is refreshing at 120.4hz so I was wondering if it was causing a sync issue with the ps5.

Also thank you for the work you do too provide us with all the important info 🙂.

Polyfusia

Sony QD-OLED tv's seem to make better use of Samsungs panels. Less problems with software. Better at keeping heat down by utilizing heat sinks, improving brightness for long periods. Panels don't bend (yet).

Any word on a new frame Tv?

Glover MS

Ridiculous… any LG or Panasonic Oled performs better than these sideshows that change their name just to make you spend a lot of money using the same technology over and over again. They are not good for video games, they are not good for home cinema, colors shot and never natural, no dolby vision, low quality build quality, which makes them easily broken or with defects after a few years.

On the other hand, Samsung has always thought more about profit than about quality

Kripa Singh

I get good deals on the Samsung products including the TVs through my workplace. But the lack of DV from Samsung TVs have prevented me from buying their TVs or even their soundbar, that cannot pas through the DV either.

Roy Richard

Durability, performance, professional grade picture quality on TV is far more important than competing to show off thinness. And if the warranty period can be 10 years or more it will be better.

Michael Jordan

I start from the bottom slowly all the way up😉🤣

Dan

Does anyone know if this tv only has 3 hdmi ports on the one-connect box?

Den

Where's your 2022 TV Awards?

CJ Randall

I have 3 55 inch Samsung's ive accumulated over about 9 years. Paid about 800 for the nu8500 which was and still is incredible. I managed to get the s95b for about 700. Warning, the s95b is great especially for gaming. But its sooo glitchy and troublesome. Unless you're able and willing to solve some ridiculous issues periodically, i sadly must say pass on them. It will likely be a disappointing headache. If they work out the issues then go for it

Frank Brüning

I am afraid burnin

VARUN G K

Samsung's reticence with Dolby vision seems akin to Nokia's with Android many years ago.

Feyd Rautha

No dolby vision 🙁 , Samsung just go ahead and pay Dolby Labs.

Graham Kelly

Looks same thickness as LG c1. Crazy how thin TVs can be . I’m actually surprised that even tho C1 is only around 4mm thin, it’s really sturdy and not weak.

WeLikeSportz

I like how Vincent gets sponsored from stores that sell a lot of different TVs, rather than being sponsored by the brands themselves.
So it's Best Buy if I'm in US and Richer Sounds if I'm in the UK, but what if I'm in Australia?

Kevin McCaughan

TVs are thin enough. Jeez who cares, it’s mounted on a wall anyway

WilliamJAmpio

Hi and congratulations for the channel. 👍🏻

I need to ask a few questions, but I'm ignorant about electronics and English isn't my language, so it's going to be hard to be precise. But I'll try anyway.
I have a 2018 Samsung q6fn 65 inches and I can't set it up correctly for gaming. I'll take as an example the ps4 game I play most often, i.e. rdr2: the lights are so strong that you can't see through, as if it were fog (and already in the game there's a lot of fog!) Every lamp, every bonfire, every ray of sun become a "wall of light" (so those who know the game can imagine what a huge torture it is to walk around Saint Denis at night!!!) Also there are other problems with the lights that I don't know how to describe, let's say you see things that aren't normal, like shadows that "vibrate" or other defects in the image.
To give another example: in the "Fifa" games some jerseys have very dense textures, for example many very thin and close stripes: in those cases I see "waves" moving on and down the shirts (however this happens in the shirt selection screen, you can't see during a match)

This is the main problem, I hope I managed to explain myself somehow. Can anyone help me fix it?

Mateusz Buczma

I would buy samsung if the will offer nvidia gsync

Zak Khan

Is the qn90b picture ruined after the update 1420

Krjal

Not really interested in LCD any more no matter how many Qs or Xs it has in the name. More and better oleds and micro led please.
