Why does thumbnail have a BTS logo?
I tried the mi mix fold in store today. Pretty good device. It get's really hot while charging though which is a thing. You can in fact use it partialy open as the hinge allows it to support itself at a bit of an angle although it's not an intended use case. Also demo units at the store did have the pc mode and the sales people assured me retail units have it too, which is odd because no reviewer I saw could figure out how to activate it.

That thin outer screen is a sure deal-breaker! It needs to have the same size and feel of a non-foldable phone. Then include ip67 and an s-pen. THEN, I'll buy it.

Either way is just unnecessary and over the top technology for the sake of gimmicky form over function, why would you make a phone that bends rather than just folds with a bezel, the screen is obviously going to deteriorate a ton, you can even see it in many videos of them, how the screen is already beginning to crease

Love the tech. But the crest in the middle will bother me. Rather wait until the tech improves. It's a lot of money for techonology that will leave you with complaints.
This folding/rolling display craze is stupid. These companies should spend those r&d billions on battery instead. That's the only crucial component of smart phones that hasn't improved since ages.

A Foldable phone is just a gimmick. I have my phone and my tablet, therefore I can’t think of any scenario where I need to have an expensive unfolding phone, that turns into a mini tablet. I hate that crease where it folds. Folding phones, one product trying to play two roles. It is a waste of money.

Huawei can not release their foldable smartphone outside of China because then they will be sued by SAMSUNG for breaching their patents.
Fortunately for chinese, they can ignore copyrights and patents if they make and sell them in China as the chinese government will protect them.
Next will be a foldable phone with screen on the front and the back
