Maui…Wowie! Nice to honor Macy with a new companion who will enjoy a loving family too. A word of caution however, he got the message from Macy about the shirt proclivity. He looked a little frightened next to it in his world debut! 🇺🇸⚓️

Mart W

he has got a cuter head than you, thanks for sharing

Maritime history, so much to read, so little time. By the way, who is your fashion consultant and what are those crazy trees?

Bernarr Coletta

Sea History…it been ages since I’ve read an issue. I guess I’m going to,the Barnes & Noble Friday.

I’m not a dog person, but my sister has a Golden Doodle and I love her. I’d definitely consider one if I were to get a doggo.

You spoke about USS Jupiter in your Great White Fleet episode. It makes sense they converted her to a carrier do to the way she was constructed.
You learn something new every day.
Thank you Sal! & Welcome to the show Maui

Speaking of historical shopping. I would love to hear you talk about the returning nick market of Tall Ships. There are a small number of "cargo sailing ship" either for delivery to small, very remote places or PR campaign like sailing coffee bean from Costa Rica to New Jersey. Even if small it would be cool to have Tall Ships since Gustaf Erikson fleet bringing wheat from Australia to England up till 1947.
Is there any exemptions in the Jones act for any weird ships?

QALibrary

oh a great dogy

Michael Ogden

I watched a YouTube documentary awhile ago about people who sailed around Africa from Europe to India on multi-masted sailing ships. Mind blowing stuff.

12/18/22. Merry Christmas Sal to you & family…including 'new' white curly haired dog..'Maley'? Now is their some subliminal message here? New dog has lots & lots of (white) hair…but you..Sal…do have… some… white-ish (short) hair…of course yours is of Military inspection length..but dog 'Maley' is ready for GI trim, aye? LoL! Stay safe & carry on!👍👍👍👏😊

Holiday mood with history of rogue waves, bigger then now right?

Wooden ships with Lord Nelson are amazingly brought to life in the fiction of Patrick O'Brian, with illustrations of all the sails etc, but beware, tons of big words, you'll need a dictionary, and I mean even you Sal! (Such as "The Yellow Admiral")

Vera Mae

"Wired" magazine is also quarterly, and has substantial fascinating articles, enjoy.

I'M DEPLORABLE

Thank you for all the maritime education you have provided to me. It is all just so interesting.
I will be subscribing to that magazine soon. Thanks.

What a blast from the past! I wrote for Sea History back in the 70s as a volunteer. Yachting history was my area. 13:35 Now it’s Coast Guard motor lifeboats. I own the first welded steel motor lifeboat CG40300. Love your channel.

Debbie K

Happy holidays prof Sal. Best wishes growing your YT channel 😊👍

I've been studying trust structures for about a year now. Do you find being a trustee to be a lot of work? How often are your meetings for the trust? Really appreciate you Sal.
